Most comfortable shoes ever! These are wonderful sandals. Unlike previous reviewers I feel they are exactly to my size (8 medium, 39 European). I had several Naot shoes in the past. They are made so nicely that you basically put them on your foot and do not take them off all summer. First day is most of the time difficult, but then they become exactly the shape of your foot. Usually Naot shoes are very orthopedic, but the looks could be better. These ones are also cute. But get the black color. I originally ordered tan and it was very dull, so I exchanged for black which is very nice.

Too cute to be true - Loved these, so feminine with dresses or pants. A little on narrow side but my feet are slightly narrow. Order a half size larger, I did, fit perfect.

Another Great Naot - These sandals look wonderful and fit like a glove if you remember Naots need to be ordered one-half size larger than you would buy in other sandals. The footbed feels just like the other Naots, wonderful with good arch support. I have the highest arches in the world, yet I can feel this footbed supporting my foot. Actually, I own two of the very same type. I wish they came in other colors.

Delicious Shoes - I ordered 8 pairs of sandals from Zappos in an attempt to replace my perfect shoes that had been worn exclusively every year for the 10 years since I got them in Italy. I was sure that no shoe could replace them - but these have!! They felt delicious right out of the box & have been on my feet every day since I got them. They are really cute on and the Java is a wonderful shade of brown (looks good on fair or dark skin). I most of the time think of myself as having wider feet, but these fit fine. The first pair I received were slightly different shades. I had waited until 2 days before my vacation to order them so I thought I was out of luck for having new, comfortable sandals for my vacation. I called the night before we left & spoke with a super friendly customer service representative who apologized profusely & immediately shipped a replacement pair that was waiting for me at my destination the very next day. After we got home from our trip, I found a personal note from the Zappos rep apologizing again for the mix up & offering good wishes on our trip. This was all in addition to a $20 gift certificate!! BRAVO!! I will always shop with you guys!

Rachel Redux - Having worn my Rachels for a month now, I feel obliged to modify my first unqualified endorsement. They STRETCH, and they stretch FAST (within a month of modest wear). What was initially perfect is now so very loose that both feet slide through the front straps and overlap the footbed by a full inch. I consider them marginally wearable at this point, and intend to return them to the manufacturer. Had they been cheap, I'd take the hit. But at the price I expect better!

Very comfortable shoe - I have these in brown and black (the brown is much cuter). I find them to be very comfortable, so much so that I am taking at least one pair to Europe. I think I've ordered over 20 pairs of sandals from Zappos and these have been the most comfortable by far.

Naot Rachel is a winner! I've been ordering and returning shoes for weeks in my quest for something that would hold up on long (4 miles) city walks but still have some modicum of attractiveness. Finally -- Rachel. I was hesitant about the style; my short legs don't ordinarily look good with an ankle strap, let alone a t-strap, but the pale color worked with my skin and they actually look very nice. After testing at home for 20 minutes, I took them out for a long walk today, and was very pleased. When I took them off I saw that I have a blister on one toe (didn't feel it happening!), but I'm hoping that the slight rub will go away as the sandals conform to my feet over the very next couple of outings. They are very, very, very comfortable. Based on other reviewers' advice, I ordered up a size (I'm most of the time a true 7) and the sandals were a perfect fit. I must be keeping several people employed single-handedly!

I found it! Thanks to Zappos efficient shipping, I received my Naot’s within 2 days- they were extremely comfortable right away- no break in period. I've taken some long walks (city terrain) and they've been delightful- no blisters, no fatigue, plenty of support. I haven't sprung this much money on a shoe in a while, but it's worth it. I'm impressed as these are my first pair of Naot’s and will definitely order more in the future.

Naot Rachel - These sandals are so comfortable I feel like I am wearing slippers. I bought them for walking in Italy and I think they will be perfect. They are a very cute casual sandal. For some reason I almost expected them to be a little more dressy, but to me it looks like very casual footwear. Naot Rachel - I've run Zappos ragged this spring with shoes returns, but this is the one! After deciding to keep it, I took a long walk in the park with very good results: footbed is lovely, good support, and only very minor new shoe rubbing. It does run narrow and maybe a tiny bit short, but not a full size short. The arch is high and irritating at first, but my foot accommodated well. They are a wonderful sandal. Cute, comfy, and lightweight.

Fantastic Walking Sandals - These sandals finally squash the myth that comfortable walking sandals are clunky and ugly. These have the best arch support of any sandal I've tried (Ecco, Clarks, Mephisto, Merrell, Easy Spirit). I love the way the soles mold to my feet, and they also have a lot of shock absorber support in the soles. The soft leather has caused no chafing, and they are CUTE! They seem to fit just a bit narrower than a "medium" most of the time does.

Great Shoe - Naots Rachel is a fabulous sandal. It offers wonderful looks and is extremely comfortable and light weight. After reading other customer reviews I was undecided on what size to order. I most of the time wear a 5 l/2 shoe but a 5 in an open sandal. Knowing Zappos wonderful return policy I decided to go with the 36 (size 5). The shoe fit perfectly. This shoe is a win-win as it can be worn with shorts, slacks, jeans, skirts and dresses. For anyone wanting a beautiful summer sandal Rachel is my choice.

Rather narrow - VERY lite and soft but narrow. I have medium wide feet and they look like overstuffed sausages in these shoes. (I’m pregnant and my feet are a bit swollen but not too bad, all of my other sandals fit right.)

Naot Rachel - Cute shoe. Very comfortable. I did go for a long walk on a hilly route and the ball of my foot began to hurt. There's no blister or anything, so I hoping that the shoe will just conform to my feet a bit more and won't be so hard against the ball of my foot.

Comfortable and Stylish! These sandals are very comfortable. They may be slightly narrow but I didn't find it to affect me at all and I have an average width foot. I wear an 8M and ordered a Eur 39 -- perfect! The color is not very black -- it can pass for black but it also can pass as Navy or Charcoal Gray -- this actually makes it a more versatile sandal. Comfortable cork footbed with moderate arch support. I love these sandals -- I didn't even have to break them in. Highly Recommend Zappos -- try the sandals risk-free. If they don't work out, just ship them back free for a full refund. I may not have bought them otherwise.

Very Comfortable for Narrow Feet - There are certain styles of Naots that are wonderful for narrow feet and the Rachel is one of them. They feel immediately comfortable and I like the look of them as well. As long as the velcro holds up, I would have no complaints and only praise for these shoes. I've had the velcro go on other shoes and even after replacing it, it was never as good as the original. I'm a 7.5 and I bought a 38 which wonderful perfect.

Instantly comfortable! After trying the Naot "Marine" sandal and finding it didn't fit, I wasn't super hopeful about the Rachel. I have been having trouble with heel pain and need a good sandal for walking on a trip to Greece. Usually, I have trouble with European sizes, as I am a true 8.5 - the Rachel fits about a 1/2 size small, which means a 9 (40) fit perfectly! They are very comfortable and I will put them to the test on my trip! Cuter in person than I thought they would be, as well. Very flattering, looking down at my foot. Also super lightweight! Color is deceiving - I love Naot! They are extremely comfortable and good quality. I got this shoe in black, but the Nubuck finish gives it more of a charcoal gray color. Did not like the color - I was needing more of a true black. Other than that - wonderful shoe!

It's a wonderful shoe - As I got Rachel from Naot and put it on, they felt narrower but still fit well. I Love this shoe it wonderful and has a nice look to it. The first time I wear them for 6 hours and my feet didn’t hurt. I got two pairs black and British Tan.

Naot Footwear Rachel - I think the Naot brand may be my new favorite brand. I like that the arch support is present but not overly pronounced. The wrong arch support can do more harm then good. I ordered the Brit Tan in size 9. They look and feel wonderful. Can't wait until summer so I can wear then all the time!

Very attractive sandal, a little narrow - This is a very cute and flattering shoe. I haven't worn it much yet due to the cooler weather, so I can't speak to long-term comfort, but it sure feels good when I try it on. I love suede insoles on shoes, it feels wonderful, and the arch support is good. I wear a 9.5 most of the time, and ordered a 41 based on previous Naot orders. It is a bit narrow for me, specifically the outside toe area where the straps meet the sole. I think it will break in OK, I sure hope so because then these will be my favorite shoes for next summer. I find that Naot is generally a bit narrow in the toe area, or it curves in where my foot does not. I do not generally require a wide size shoe; it's mostly just the curvature of the toe box. I got the British tan, and it flatters my pale skin. Very pretty shoe.

These are the most comfortable shoes that I've ever worn. They look wonderful with skirts, give a dressier impression than most flats, and held up to miles of walking in the heat and on bad sidewalks. I love this shoe! My first pair of Naots and now I'm sure I'll get more of this brand. I am actually a 7.5 and I find that 7's most of the time fit me better with shoes, and that was the case with these too. Best Sandal EVER!! This sandal feels better than being barefoot! So lightweight that I didn't believe there were actually sandals inside the box that was shipped. I have fairly narrow feet, and this sandal was the perfect width. However, I actually where a 10.5 in Women's and I had to get the 42 (Women's 11) in order for it to fit properly. I couldn't recommend these sandals more...a wonderful investment!

Cute and Comfy - I bought this shoe because it looked cute and other Naot sandals have worked well for my narrow feet. Overall, I like the shoe a lot but it’s not quite as narrow as I would have liked so the part around the toes is a little loose. In reality though it’s probably true to width since my feet are very narrow.

Just ok for Naot - The fit is accurate. The height/slope is not as wonderful as it appears in the photo, which I had wanted as I find that more comfortable. I'm also not crazy about the elastic band on the back strap b/c I think it will wear out. And they're not the most comfortable Naots I've worn, but maybe they'll break in well and be more comfortable.

Just perfect... A truly fabulous shoe. Very lightweight and easy to walk in for the entire day. I have multiple foot problems and actually wear orthotics but this sandal fills the bill. I am so happy to have a pretty and comfy sandal. I am a 9.5 and ordered a 40 and 41, but the 41 fit better and it says it fits a 10.5. The ankle strap is perfect for those with a narrow instep since it adjusts easily. I wish they had more colors!

In love with Naot's Rachel. I love, love, love these shoes; they are the most comfortable summer sandals I own. I fell in love with these shoes a few months ago when I ordered the British tan in my European size 40 (American size 9-9 1/2) but was very disappointed when they didn't fit (they were too small). I tried to exchange them for a size 41 but Zappos didn't any more in stock and they told me that they would notify me when they become available. They fit perfect! I've been wearing them every day & have gotten many compliments. I love them so much that I'm actually thinking about ordering the black ones.

Very comfortable - These are very comfortable sandals, soft foot bed, and well made. The Brit Tan is darker than it looks on the screen, though. The center loop of leather tends to move around...so be prepared to adjust it once in awhile.

Comfortable stylish walker - I love this shoe...It seemed a bit narrower than my other pair of Naot’s, but seems to be loosening up with wear. My only wish is that it was a bit darker black. It is very matte, sort of a dusty grey/black, but with comfort like this, I know it won't stop me from wearing them!

Great shoe - Like the other Naot's I've worn, this one is really comfortable, and has become more comfortable over time as the sole molds to my feet. The foot bed in this particular style seems to be quite a bit narrower than the other Naot's I have. I had to return the first pair (thanks for the free return shipping!) to get a larger pair, primarily because of the narrow width.

Most comfortable shoes ever! These are wonderful sandals. Unlike previous reviewers I feel they are exactly to my size (8 medium, 39 European). I had several Naot shoes in the past. They are made so nicely that you basically put them on your foot and do not take them off all summer. First day is most of the time difficult, but then they become exactly the shape of your foot. Usually Naot shoes are very orthopedic, but the looks could be better. These ones are also cute. But get the black color. I originally ordered tan and it was very dull, so I exchanged for black which is very nice.

Too cute to be true - Loved these, so feminine with dresses or pants. A little on narrow side but my feet are slightly narrow. Order a half size larger, I did, fit perfect.

Naot Footwear's Rachel- Black- BOO HOO! This is a really cute shoe! Comfortable and I love the heel as I was looking for a feminine shoe for summer. BUT it felt a half a size smaller and it runs narrow. I have medium to wide feet. I most of the time have no problem wearing regular widths but this one is narrow. What a shame...

Naot Rachel. These shoes are beautiful and super comfortable, however they run a half size small and are a bit narrow. I ordered the tan in my regular European size 40 (American size 9-9 1/2), but they were too small, my big toes were sticking out about half an inch and the width was a little snug for my normal to narrow foot. I tried to exchange them for a size 41, but Zappos didn't have any more in stock. What a bummer because I really liked the shoes.

Cute, comfortable shoe - This is cute, but I am returning it because the ankle strap is WAY too big for a small shoe (I wear a size four) - probably works well if you have a wide ankle.

NAOT Rachel - Being in need of a slightly dressy sandal, I ordered Rachel. It looks wonderful with shorts, capris, pants, AND skirts! As for sizing... European sizes can be a problem. I wear a size 8 and have learned to order a 39 in shoes and a 40 in a closed shoe. My foot fits perfectly, end to end. Because it is a sandal, it feels true to size. If this were a closed shoe, it would be too short. That aside, this is a very comfortable shoe.

Cute and comfortable - I've had many compliments on the look of this sandal. It is hard to find a comfortable sandal that actually has some attractive design. I wanted a dressier looking sandal so I went for this one. I have not been disappointed. It has been comfortable from the moment I put it on. I find the footbed fits me perfectly. I have no irritation from any straps or other parts. I have a Neuroma in one foot and the toe box area of this sandal is wide enough not to squeeze my toes and cause pain. In fact this and the Naot Kayla model, which I bought at the same time, are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. This is my fourth pair of Naots and with such success I will continue to look at their sandals first.

I have plantar fasciitis and need a shoe with support for a high arch. I find this shoe extremely comfortable. I wish it would provide more flexibility around the ankle for those with thin ankles as my foot wants to slide forward. Love Naot sandals.

My daughter has had two pairs of the white color of these. You have to paint the toes with leather whitener from time to time but they're quality leather, they last, and really do age well. I handed down the first pair to my best friend's little girl who wears them non stop. Our second pair is slowly getting too small. We're currently contemplating the folly of a third pair. These are beautiful sandals.

Nice but too short - I really liked the quality, style and feel of this sandal but it felt almost a full size too short. I wear 7.5 so I ordered 38 and it was too short. Since I have a narrow foot I would want to size up in this one. What a shame.

Comfortable and actually cute - I was looking for shoes that I could wear all around NYC-- I have a lot of trouble finding comfortable sandals that aren't ugly. These fit the bill: lightweight and much cuter than most sandals like this. The adjustable strap makes them fit better and keeps your foot from having to work to keep the shoe on your foot. I didn't believe that they really ran that small but they do-- I am a narrow 7 1/2, sometimes a 7 in shoes, and the 38 was too small, had to get a 39.

Great at first, bad later - I was thrilled at first. The shoe is cute - there is wonderful arch support, very comfortable, perfect fit, but after only a few wearings, the leather stretched so much that the sandals just flop around on my feet and I trip if I try to walk in them. No kidding, almost an inch of stretch on the straps over the toe!

Another Great Naot - These sandals look wonderful and fit like a glove if you remember Naots need to be ordered one-half size larger than you would buy in other sandals. The footbed feels just like the other Naots, wonderful with good arch support. I have the highest arches in the world, yet I can feel this footbed supporting my foot. Actually, I own two of the very same type. I wish they came in other colors.

Delicious Shoes - I ordered 8 pairs of sandals from Zappos in an attempt to replace my perfect shoes that had been worn exclusively every year for the 10 years since I got them in Italy. I was sure that no shoe could replace them - but these have!! They felt delicious right out of the box & have been on my feet every day since I got them. They are really cute on and the Java is a wonderful shade of brown (looks good on fair or dark skin). I most of the time think of myself as having wider feet, but these fit fine. The first pair I received were slightly different shades. I had waited until 2 days before my vacation to order them so I thought I was out of luck for having new, comfortable sandals for my vacation. I called the night before we left & spoke with a super friendly customer service representative who apologized profusely & immediately shipped a replacement pair that was waiting for me at my destination the very next day. After we got home from our trip, I found a personal note from the Zappos rep apologizing again for the mix up & offering good wishes on our trip. This was all in addition to a $20 gift certificate!! BRAVO!! I will always shop with you guys!

Rachel Redux - Having worn my Rachels for a month now, I feel obliged to modify my first unqualified endorsement. They STRETCH, and they stretch FAST (within a month of modest wear). What was initially perfect is now so very loose that both feet slide through the front straps and overlap the footbed by a full inch. I consider them marginally wearable at this point, and intend to return them to the manufacturer. Had they been cheap, I'd take the hit. But at the price I expect better!

Naot Rachel is a winner! I've been ordering and returning shoes for weeks in my quest for something that would hold up on long (4 miles) city walks but still have some modicum of attractiveness. Finally -- Rachel. I was hesitant about the style; my short legs don't ordinarily look good with an ankle strap, let alone a t-strap, but the pale color worked with my skin and they actually look very nice. After testing at home for 20 minutes, I took them out for a long walk today, and was very pleased. When I took them off I saw that I have a blister on one toe (didn't feel it happening!), but I'm hoping that the slight rub will go away as the sandals conform to my feet over the very next couple of outings. They are very, very, very comfortable. Based on other reviewers' advice, I ordered up a size (I'm most of the time a true 7) and the sandals were a perfect fit. I must be keeping several people employed single-handedly!

I found it! Thanks to Zappos efficient shipping, I received my Naot’s within 2 days- they were extremely comfortable right away- no break in period. I've taken some long walks (city terrain) and they've been delightful- no blisters, no fatigue, plenty of support. I haven't sprung this much money on a shoe in a while, but it's worth it. I'm impressed as these are my first pair of Naot’s and will definitely order more in the future.

Naot Rachel - These sandals are so comfortable I feel like I am wearing slippers. I bought them for walking in Italy and I think they will be perfect. They are a very cute casual sandal. For some reason I almost expected them to be a little more dressy, but to me it looks like very casual footwear. Naot Rachel - I've run Zappos ragged this spring with shoes returns, but this is the one! After deciding to keep it, I took a long walk in the park with very good results: footbed is lovely, good support, and only very minor new shoe rubbing. It does run narrow and maybe a tiny bit short, but not a full size short. The arch is high and irritating at first, but my foot accommodated well. They are a wonderful sandal. Cute, comfy, and lightweight.

Fantastic Walking Sandals - These sandals finally squash the myth that comfortable walking sandals are clunky and ugly. These have the best arch support of any sandal I've tried (Ecco, Clarks, Mephisto, Merrell, Easy Spirit). I love the way the soles mold to my feet, and they also have a lot of shock absorber support in the soles. The soft leather has caused no chafing, and they are CUTE! They seem to fit just a bit narrower than a "medium" most of the time does.

Great Shoe - Naots Rachel is a fabulous sandal. It offers wonderful looks and is extremely comfortable and light weight. After reading other customer reviews I was undecided on what size to order. I most of the time wear a 5 l/2 shoe but a 5 in an open sandal. Knowing Zappos wonderful return policy I decided to go with the 36 (size 5). The shoe fit perfectly. This shoe is a win-win as it can be worn with shorts, slacks, jeans, skirts and dresses. For anyone wanting a beautiful summer sandal Rachel is my choice.

Rather narrow - VERY lite and soft but narrow. I have medium wide feet and they look like overstuffed sausages in these shoes. (I’m pregnant and my feet are a bit swollen but not too bad, all of my other sandals fit right.)

Naot Rachel - Cute shoe. Very comfortable. I did go for a long walk on a hilly route and the ball of my foot began to hurt. There's no blister or anything, so I hoping that the shoe will just conform to my feet a bit more and won't be so hard against the ball of my foot.

Comfortable and Stylish! These sandals are very comfortable. They may be slightly narrow but I didn't find it to affect me at all and I have an average width foot. I wear an 8M and ordered a Eur 39 -- perfect! The color is not very black -- it can pass for black but it also can pass as Navy or Charcoal Gray -- this actually makes it a more versatile sandal. Comfortable cork footbed with moderate arch support. I love these sandals -- I didn't even have to break them in. Highly Recommend Zappos -- try the sandals risk-free. If they don't work out, just ship them back free for a full refund. I may not have bought them otherwise.
