These are very nice and relatively dressy shoes, and the brown color is very pretty. However, they were too narrow for me. I do not have wide feet - I don't think I've ever returned a pair of sandals for being too narrow before. But my toes felt very squished, especially my little toes. I was worried about getting blisters, especially once the weather heats up, so I decided to go with the Naot Cannes instead, which offer more room for my toes. Other than that, they seem like they would have been very comfortable and supportive sandals.

Finally! I have the worst feet in the world and just cannot do the old 'break them in' thing anymore. These shoes were wonderful from the 1st moment! I have never spent this much money on sandals before. I have actually been wearing nothing but Keen water sandals everywhere as I could not tolerate anything else, so imagine my delight to have a pair of not-too-clunky sandals for work and travel. The metal black will go with everything. I understand that my orthotics will also fit, but haven't even had to try them yet! Zappos is the best - no questions if the sandals don't fit and no charge to return. I did order the 41 and I most of the time wear a 9-1/2...just right.

The perfect little sandal - These shoes have the perfect heel - a little lift but not making you desperate to take them off at the end of the day, and the gunmetal color lets them take the place of either black or brown, if you want to 'coordinate.'

I bought two pairs the same - I bought these metallic shoes to take to Italy, along with the Naot Rebecca sandal, which I love. These are so wonderful and look so dressy that I bought a second pair to keep in a box until the first pair wears out. I want to make sure I will wear this color and style for a long time! I use carbon fiber orthotics in both sandals, and they work well. One thing - at the airport, they found out that one of my shoes did not have the steel shank in it!! It was humorous, but caused them to hold me back while they figured out that it was just a manufacture flaw. (I can't tell when I wear them.) And I bought the second pair anyway, because they are so good.

Clunkier than it looks in the picture - Because of the border all around the footbed, this shoe looks pretty clunky. May look better in the smaller sizes? It feels really comfortable, but I didn't wear it outside so I can't be sure.

Great shoe - These sandals are wonderful! Even with the most comfortable sandals my back will end up in pain after a long day of walking but not with these sandals. The metal color sandals go with everything- any type of outfit, any color. I would highly recommend these sandals.

Don't be afraid of the heel - I hesitated a long time before ordering these shoes because I can't wear any sort of heel. But I decided to try them out. Although they do give some nice extra height, they are more like a platform, with the height at both the front and back of the shoe. The actual 'lift' on the foot it probably about an inch, which I think is terrific. The metal colour goes with everything - I have a number of pairs of Naot shoes and these are the dressiest. Still not 'dressy' but not bad. Tip for orthotic wearers - I wear a 3/4 length orthotic. I had a pedorthist shave down the insole under the heel so that my orthotic sits flush with the back of the shoe. Give it a try!

Naot Sandal Footwear - Recently I was introduced to Naot. I was looking for a fun, durable and COMFORTABLE walking sandal. Naot fits all of those requests. The shoe looks just a bit chunky, but the fit is so right for my arch, that the walk is VERY comfortable. The footbed is cut to nestle your foot, so you do need a 1/2 size larger than you may actually buy. I recommend these sandals for traveling where your sandals must serve many purposes, conditions and events.

Not for big feet - I think these are the sandals for me... they feel like they have wonderful support and they are stylish enough for me, but I couldn't keep them - I ordered another pair of Naots in a size 11 - which were almost okay, but a tad too small. So I ordered this pair in the 11 - 11 1/2 and they were much, much SMALLER than the previous pair that was a size 11. I give up.

SOOO comfortable! My feet are almost flat causing the straps on most shoes to be way too loose on me. These fit perfectly & feel so good on my feet. I most of the time don't like to have a strap so close to my ankles, but I put a little strip of padding there & it doesn't annoy me at all. Naot Paris - I was prepared to be excited about this shoe, in my quest for a comfortable sandal, but had to return it. I found that my foot kept sliding forward, even though the shoe was actually on the narrow side for me, and I had to tighten the ankle strap to feel the sandal would stay on, which hit me in a spot which seemed it would become painful. Too bad there is no toe grip to keep your foot in place. The footbed was very supportive but I thought these shoes would drive me out of my mind with constant adjustment. I had my sandals the very next day even ordering late in the afternoon!

Cute and comfy - These are one of the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I most of the time wear Mephisto’s for support, but have found that these are wonderful!! I have plantar fasciitis and since wearing these sandals, the condition has almost disappeared...thanks to the arch support and the slight rocking motion. I just bought a second pair in the black and one in brown...I would love them in any color. The footbed is soft and conforms to the foot. They are strappy enough to wear with a casual skirt as well as crops and other pants.

Comfy but lacks a bit of style - This is a fairly comfortable sandal if you tend to have feet problems. I do wish it had a little more arch support. Naot Paris Metallic sz 41 - I bought these sandals to wear on a vacation with a lot of walking. When I first put them on, I was thrilled as they were so comfortable. I most of the time wear a true size 9, but bought a 41 based on reviews and previous experience with Naot. After wearing them a day or two, the leather stretched enough that they became a little sloppy so that I have to wear the ankle strap more tightly. I wish I had bought the size 40 sandals instead. There is enough space above my toes, that I really should have, but I didn't have time to send them back before going on vacation. The metal color goes with absolutely everything and they look nice with a little dressier clothes.!!!

Paris sandal review - I just received my Paris shoes today and absolutely love them! It feels so very comfortable and I am thrilled that I can wear a dressier sandal with my plantar fasciitis problem. I got the black - I can't believe how wonderful it feels... Zappos is wonderful because I have ordered and returned several shoes in my quest for the right fit - but this one is a definite keeper! The metal color is a lot more attractive than I thought it would be. Online it looks like a dirty wash but it's fully metallic and silverish. The 35 is not a size 4 so I was disappointed with the fit.

Beautiful workmanship and easy on your tootsies! I'm in love with Naot sandals. This is my second pair, and I couldn't be happier. We'll always have Paris... A flat footed, bunion sufferer gives these rave reviews! I most of the time wear Danskos; however, these seem to give just as much support but with a more delicate, feminine look. I am actually a 38, but a 39 for Naots do the trick. They are a wonderful fit right off the bat with classic styling, and well worth the price. I'm sure I'll have them for years. Trés Magnifique!

Comfortable casual sandal - I have several problems w/my feet and most of the time can't wear 1 pair for an entire day of sightseeing or shopping. Great, but narrow - I’m going to return these for a size larger because the footbed in the front is quite narrow, more narrow than my other Naot shoes, resulting in toe spillage toward the sides... but they are really comfortable and not as granolafied as most other shoes in this category.

I can finally wear something with a heel again! I have to wear orthotics in my sandals unless the sandals are relatively flat and have incredible arch support. I'd given up on wearing shoes other than Birkenstock-style stuff because as cute as Clarks and other "comfort" brands are, they don't have adequate arch support or put too much weight on the front of the foot. Because the platform style means that there's not a huge difference between the back and front of the foot, these are the first dressy shoes that I can wear to work in YEARS. The cork bed insert has the same support as a Birkenstock or Mephisto flat shoe, but the style only looks slightly European instead of incredibly crunchy like a Birkie. The metal and black leather are dressier than the browns, and I can actually wear them for business in warm weather if the rest of my outfit is impeccably professional.

Really wonderful - They look wonderful and feel wonderful. If I try on a shoe and it feels narrow or just weird, e.g. has a seam or label that feels scratchy, or rubs somewhere, I just can't do the "breaking in" thing, because I always end up regretting it. These felt wonderful right out of the box, and there were no hidden surprises after wearing them around for a while, they still felt wonderful. And I get lots of compliments on their looks, too!

Very comfortable - I love these shoes. I have flat feet and most of the time have to wear orthotics all the time. I can wear Naots with the removable cork bed without my orthotics. A wonderful sandal! I wore these every day on a 12 day mostly walking vacation. Although the Velcro irritated my foot for a day or two (I was in 100 degree heat) (and I am most of the time slightly allergic to Velcro) these were incredibly comfy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! They looked wonderful with skirts, shorts and pants. The heel is a little higher than your usual Naot. I will get these next summer in another color - the butter looks fun. I have the chocolate brown.

Naot is comfort and beauty - Attractive comfort from Naot. This is the pair I stuck with. I am average width-and they are almost too small on the pinkie toe. I wore them around the house and realized they would work out, but if you are on the wide side, a "medium" width will be too narrow. They work well for plantar fasciitis sufferers.

Superb for Eastern European/Istanbul Tour (8 Weeks) This is one of Naot's best: I wore it daily for long hours through Macedonia, Bulgaria and Istanbul - where pavements can be iffy, cobblestones dominate, and walks are uphill and down. Not a blister, a break-in or any problem, and high quality Naot workmanship. I tend to have slightly wider feet than most, so my width judgment could be a bit "off" on this - but you will love this lightweight sandal with no buckle to irritate, irk or annoy. Looks fabulous with dresses/skirts, and with capris/slacks - I imagine perfect with shorts, too! A bit costly, yes, but will last a long, long time, as I know from experience with Naot -- "investment sandals" for happy feet/selves! ENJOY!

Pretty good for the most part - Though the size 37 is supposed to be the equivalent of a US size 6, mine still feel a little large. They are still very comfy though, and well worth the money just for that.

Wear Paris in Paris. I have been wearing these sandals for a week so far in Paris! Very good walking shoe fits right in with what they wear here. I have walked about 45 miles in them over the past seven days, and they are pretty comfortable. The only problem I have found is that I have to tighten the ankle strap pretty tight because they are so wide at the top of the foot that I feel like the shoe will fall off if I didn't. Because of that, I feel a little bruised where the strap tightens. However, the average person is not going to wear them as much as I have, so I would still highly recommend them. As far as the look of the shoe goes, I have them in black and brown, and the black is definitely better looking than the brown, which tends to look a little "granola". Still a good purchase, though.

Great shoes - I am a huge fan of Naot shoes - I have worn them for years. I bought this pair for a trip to NYC and Europe because I knew I could walk for miles in them and get the support & comfort that I need. I walk hard & fast and most shoes "burn" my soles. Naot's foot bed absorbs the heat so I don't have that problem. The Paris is also more stylish than most walking shoes so looks cute with skirts & pants. I would definitely recommend these.

Perfectly wonderful little sandal - This shoe has hardly left my feet - absolutely wonderful and the bamboo color is perfect. I had a wonderful pair of tan shoes with a low platform that I wore and wore and wore until they fell apart. I've been looking for a shoe to replace them with absolutely no luck until now. This shoe is everything I expected.

Amazing sandals! These Naot’s are really incredibly comfortable and look wonderful. I wear them constantly, because they are so comfortable, and look wonderful with everything. They are well worth the price. Naot’s don't wear out easily. By the way, I most of the time wear a 7 1/2 in shoes, and a 7 1/2 or 8 in sandals, and a Naot size 39 fits me perfectly.

Nice lines - Love the asymmetrical strapping on this sandal--very flattering lines--and the slightly elevated heel and rocker-style bottom are the answer to my prayers. (Most Naot shoes are just too flat for my high-instep feet.) I could have done without the "rustic" topstitching, and I prefer a buckle to Velcro. Nevertheless, I'm counting on these shoes to be my new summer staples.

These are very nice and relatively dressy shoes, and the brown color is very pretty. However, they were too narrow for me. I do not have wide feet - I don't think I've ever returned a pair of sandals for being too narrow before. But my toes felt very squished, especially my little toes. I was worried about getting blisters, especially once the weather heats up, so I decided to go with the Naot Cannes instead, which offer more room for my toes. Other than that, they seem like they would have been very comfortable and supportive sandals.

Finally! I have the worst feet in the world and just cannot do the old 'break them in' thing anymore. These shoes were wonderful from the 1st moment! I have never spent this much money on sandals before. I have actually been wearing nothing but Keen water sandals everywhere as I could not tolerate anything else, so imagine my delight to have a pair of not-too-clunky sandals for work and travel. The metal black will go with everything. I understand that my orthotics will also fit, but haven't even had to try them yet! Zappos is the best - no questions if the sandals don't fit and no charge to return. I did order the 41 and I most of the time wear a 9-1/2...just right.

I bought two pairs the same - I bought these metallic shoes to take to Italy, along with the Naot Rebecca sandal, which I love. These are so wonderful and look so dressy that I bought a second pair to keep in a box until the first pair wears out. I want to make sure I will wear this color and style for a long time! I use carbon fiber orthotics in both sandals, and they work well. One thing - at the airport, they found out that one of my shoes did not have the steel shank in it!! It was humorous, but caused them to hold me back while they figured out that it was just a manufacture flaw. (I can't tell when I wear them.) And I bought the second pair anyway, because they are so good.

Don't be afraid of the heel - I hesitated a long time before ordering these shoes because I can't wear any sort of heel. But I decided to try them out. Although they do give some nice extra height, they are more like a platform, with the height at both the front and back of the shoe. The actual 'lift' on the foot it probably about an inch, which I think is terrific. The metal colour goes with everything - I have a number of pairs of Naot shoes and these are the dressiest. Still not 'dressy' but not bad. Tip for orthotic wearers - I wear a 3/4 length orthotic. I had a pedorthist shave down the insole under the heel so that my orthotic sits flush with the back of the shoe. Give it a try!

Naot Sandal Footwear - Recently I was introduced to Naot. I was looking for a fun, durable and COMFORTABLE walking sandal. Naot fits all of those requests. The shoe looks just a bit chunky, but the fit is so right for my arch, that the walk is VERY comfortable. The footbed is cut to nestle your foot, so you do need a 1/2 size larger than you may actually buy. I recommend these sandals for traveling where your sandals must serve many purposes, conditions and events.

SOOO comfortable! My feet are almost flat causing the straps on most shoes to be way too loose on me. These fit perfectly & feel so good on my feet. Naot Paris - I was prepared to be excited about this shoe, in my quest for a comfortable sandal, but had to return it. I found that my foot kept sliding forward, even though the shoe was actually on the narrow side for me, and I had to tighten the ankle strap to feel the sandal would stay on, which hit me in a spot which seemed it would become painful. Too bad there is no toe grip to keep your foot in place. The footbed was very supportive but I thought these shoes would drive me out of my mind with constant adjustment. I had my sandals the very next day even ordering late in the afternoon!

Cute and comfy - These are one of the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I most of the time wear Mephisto’s for support, but have found that these are wonderful!! I have plantar fasciitis and since wearing these sandals, the condition has almost disappeared...thanks to the arch support and the slight rocking motion. I just bought a second pair in the black and one in brown...I would love them in any color. The footbed is soft and conforms to the foot. They are strappy enough to wear with a casual skirt as well as crops and other pants.

Naot Paris Metallic sz 41 - I bought these sandals to wear on a vacation with a lot of walking. When I first put them on, I was thrilled as they were so comfortable. I most of the time wear a true size 9, but bought a 41 based on reviews and previous experience with Naot. After wearing them a day or two, the leather stretched enough that they became a little sloppy so that I have to wear the ankle strap more tightly. I wish I had bought the size 40 sandals instead. There is enough space above my toes, that I really should have, but I didn't have time to send them back before going on vacation. The metal color goes with absolutely everything and they look nice with a little dressier clothes.!!!

Paris sandal review - I just received my Paris shoes today and absolutely love them! It feels so very comfortable and I am thrilled that I can wear a dressier sandal with my plantar fasciitis problem. I got the black - I can't believe how wonderful it feels... The metal color is a lot more attractive than I thought it would be. Online it looks like a dirty wash but it's fully metallic and silverish. The 35 is not a size 4 so I was disappointed with the fit.

Beautiful workmanship and easy on your tootsies! I'm in love with Naot sandals. This is my second pair, and I couldn't be happier. We'll always have Paris... A flat footed, bunion sufferer gives these rave reviews! I most of the time wear Danskos; however, these seem to give just as much support but with a more delicate, feminine look. I am actually a 38, but a 39 for Naots do the trick. I can finally wear something with a heel again! I have to wear orthotics in my sandals unless the sandals are relatively flat and have incredible arch support. I'd given up on wearing shoes other than Birkenstock-style stuff because as cute as Clarks and other "comfort" brands are, they don't have adequate arch support or put too much weight on the front of the foot. Because the platform style means that there's not a huge difference between the back and front of the foot, these are the first dressy shoes that I can wear to work in YEARS. The cork bed insert has the same support as a Birkenstock or Mephisto flat shoe, but the style only looks slightly European instead of incredibly crunchy like a Birkie. The metal and black leather are dressier than the browns, and I can actually wear them for business in warm weather if the rest of my outfit is impeccably professional.

If I try on a shoe and it feels narrow or just weird, e.g. has a seam or label that feels scratchy, or rubs somewhere, I just can't do the "breaking in" thing, because I always end up regretting it. These felt wonderful right out of the box, and there were no hidden surprises after wearing them around for a while, they still felt wonderful. And I get lots of compliments on their looks, too!

Very comfortable - I love these shoes. I have flat feet and most of the time have to wear orthotics all the time. I can wear Naots with the removable cork bed without my orthotics. Very comfortable all day, standing or walking. This is my 6th pair of Naots and I'll be buying some dress clogs for winter. I get compliments when I wear them. Usually I can only wear ugly supportive sandals.

A wonderful sandal! I wore these every day on a 12 day mostly walking vacation. Although the Velcro irritated my foot for a day or two (I was in 100 degree heat) (and I am most of the time slightly allergic to Velcro) these were incredibly comfy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! They looked wonderful with skirts, shorts and pants. The heel is a little higher than your usual Naot. I will get these next summer in another color - the butter looks fun. I have the chocolate brown.

Naot is comfort and beauty - Attractive comfort from Naot. This is the pair I stuck with. I am average width-and they are almost too small on the pinkie toe. I wore them around the house and realized they would work out, but if you are on the wide side, a "medium" width will be too narrow. They work well for plantar fasciitis sufferers.

Superb for Eastern European/Istanbul Tour (8 Weeks) This is one of Naot's best: I wore it daily for long hours through Macedonia, Bulgaria and Istanbul - where pavements can be iffy, cobblestones dominate, and walks are uphill and down. Not a blister, a break-in or any problem, and high quality Naot workmanship. I tend to have slightly wider feet than most, so my width judgment could be a bit "off" on this - but you will love this lightweight sandal with no buckle to irritate, irk or annoy. Looks fabulous with dresses/skirts, and with capris/slacks - I imagine perfect with shorts, too! A bit costly, yes, but will last a long, long time, as I know from experience with Naot -- "investment sandals" for happy feet/selves! ENJOY!

Wear Paris in Paris. I have been wearing these sandals for a week so far in Paris! Very good walking shoe fits right in with what they wear here. I have walked about 45 miles in them over the past seven days, and they are pretty comfortable. The only problem I have found is that I have to tighten the ankle strap pretty tight because they are so wide at the top of the foot that I feel like the shoe will fall off if I didn't. Because of that, I feel a little bruised where the strap tightens. However, the average person is not going to wear them as much as I have, so I would still highly recommend them. As far as the look of the shoe goes, I have them in black and brown, and the black is definitely better looking than the brown, which tends to look a little "granola". Still a good purchase, though.

Great shoes - I am a huge fan of Naot shoes - I have worn them for years. I bought this pair for a trip to NYC and Europe because I knew I could walk for miles in them and get the support & comfort that I need. I walk hard & fast and most shoes "burn" my soles. Naot's foot bed absorbs the heat so I don't have that problem. The Paris is also more stylish than most walking shoes so looks cute with skirts & pants. I would definitely recommend these.

Amazing sandals! These Naot’s are really incredibly comfortable and look wonderful. I wear them constantly, because they are so comfortable, and look wonderful with everything. Nice lines - Love the asymmetrical strapping on this sandal--very flattering lines--and the slightly elevated heel and rocker-style bottom are the answer to my prayers. (Most Naot shoes are just too flat for my high-instep feet.) I could have done without the "rustic" topstitching, and I prefer a buckle to Velcro. Nevertheless, I'm counting on these shoes to be my new summer staples.

A BIG "5" comfort shoe - This is NOT a dressy sandal but is a perfect walking shoe and in the metallic shades (steel and metal) it is dressy enough to wear in the evening. It is light and has wonderful support. I am an older woman with several foot problems and I bought this shoe in both of the above shades because it's so comfortable. I sprayed the shoe with a stain repellant because it has a suede foot bed and the leather did not look like it would hold up in the rain. So far so good.

A little disappointed - I searched for hours before deciding upon this shoe. I wanted a comfortable walking sandal. I read another review that said the ankle strap was too loose, but I bought it anyway. I should have taken heed. The ankle straps are indeed to loose. Worth considering for comfort and casual style - I've been wearing Naots for almost 12 years. This was probably my 6th pair. They're a wonderful brand. This is a little more casual than I prefer, but I find myself wearing them and have walked many miles in them with no worries or blisters. If Birkenstocks are too wide for your feet and you are a narrow to medium width, this is the brand for you.

OK shoe - I didn't really like the look of this shoe - it's pretty clunky because of the way the sole is wider than your foot. The other problem is that the strap doesn't really adjust well for a narrow ankle - you can tighten it, but then the flap hangs over the edge because there's no more velcro. It is pretty comfortable though. I have another pair of Naot shoes that I really like.

Great shoe - Super comfortable right out of the box. I have narrow feet and a high arch and they fit perfectly. They're wonderful because they have the look of a heeled shoe, but they don't feel like a heeled shoe at all. Removable insole is wonderful - easily removed, but you can't tell at all that it's removable. Size up a half size. I wear 6 or 6.5 in shoes (size 36), but these fit me perfectly in a 7 (size 37). I've heard that Naots most of the time size like this.

I had tried on dozens of shoes in an attempt to get something feminine, dressy, AND walkable. The walkability is very important to me because I live in a city, often travel to other cities, and enjoy a walking lifestyle. ALL the shoes I tried hurt my feet. I have several other Naot sandals and I know this is not a high-fashion brand, but I ended up with the Paris in metallic and am very happy with it. The color makes them more feminine and the heel helps the look. Because the heel is somewhat broad, it's very stable and does not feel like wearing a high heel at all, but adds a bit of “fashiony” look to it. I walked all over New York in them and they did not hurt my feet. I wish Naot would make their sandals a BIT dressier but I do like these a lot.

Removable Footbed, a must for me - I am so pleased with the fit and comfort of this shoe and would recommend it to anyone who needs extra cushioning. I love the worn out metallic color. They are comfortable, yes, but they look a little hippie or earthy for my taste. I'm not crazy about the cork footbed. It felt like something was touching me the whole time and when I took them off, my feet felt tired and the strap had left some color on my ankle. I sent them back because they were not cute in the way I wished they were and it seemed like they might take a while to feel more comfy, if ever.

Worth it! I bought the metal leather so it would go with many colors and to break away from the standard black. I love the color. And, I love the comfort; I can't believe how comfortable they were straight out of the box. I wear a size 9M and the size 40 fit just right. Finally! Comfortable walking shoes that are stylish - I like to walk a lot, but it's always been a challenge for me to find comfortable shoes that I can hike around in all day that are also cute and stylish. I absolutely LOVE the gunmetal metallic color – goes with nearly everything. I actually wear size 5 sandals and have wide feet, so I was delighted to find sandals that are cute, comfortable, AND size 5 – truly a rarity! Several people commented that Naot sandals run large (this was my first Naot purchase), so I bought both size 4 and size 5 to try. Because of my wide feet, size 4 felt tight width wise, though I have to admit that the smaller size did indeed fit better lengthwise. Alas, I sent back the smaller size shoe and kept the size 5. Bottom line: if you have narrow feet, I would purchase this shoe one size smaller. However, if your feet are wide, I'd stick to your original shoe size. I am delighted with this purchase.

Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support

Naot Paris - These sandals fit like a glove! Soft and supple yet supportive. I wear orthotics and felt that I could wear these shoes without additional support- however; they have a removable footbed, so some form of orthotic can be used.

LOVE - I love these sandals, last year I bought a pair from a local store but they were a little big on my foot I sold them to my girlfriend and she says they are the best shoe she has ever worn. I would highly recommend them even the first time wearing them I didn't get blisters, sore spots nothing. I most of the time wear a 5 1/2 but had to wear a 4 in this shoe.

Comfortable, cute and easy - These are comfortable, cute and easy to wear with almost anything. The straps aren't bothersome at all. These run bigger than the other Naot’s that I just bought. I wear a 9M, which is a 40 in these. I wish that I had gotten the size down, but it's too late. I gave these a "4 Overall" because there's not that much arch support. But I'll wear them a lot & be glad about it.
