Fit perfectly, look wonderful - This is the first day I am wearing my first pair of Naots. I've never even tried them on in the store because shoe stores in my area don't carry my size. Bought them on blind faith, and I'm thrilled. Am a size 5 with wide feet. Although I have arthritis in one big toe, I feel like I could walk forever in these sandals. Love the way the look, too.

I love these sandals - I ordered the blue one. It's really cute. I love the Naot footbed. It is so comfortable. But they suggest ordering the bigger size because these sandals run small. My last pair were a little sloppy, so this time I ordered the smaller size. And they fit perfect. I also haven't had any of the problems that others complained about.

Most comfortable from the get-go - I have worn these sandals twice - both for a day of work and then shopping afterwards. I have plantar fasciitis and it hasn't bothered me with these sandals. It's nice to remove the insole for an insert, but I haven't needed to use mine with these. I most of the time wear a 7 wide and these fit perfect. Little more than I wanted to spend, but oh so worth it.

These sandals are cute, light and so comfortable -- I feel like I am wearing slippers. They fit true to size (I wear 7.5 and the 38 fit well), have moderate arch support, and the toe box is roomy. I like that the cross straps have velcro to adjust for a custom fit, and the inside is softly lined. They will look good with pants, jeans and casual skirts/dresses.

Everyday comfort - This shoe works very well with my custom dress shoe orthotic inserted below the removable insole. You could also remove the insole and insert a full orthotic. I wear the shoe with slacks and casual skirts and also with jeans. Excellent alternative to tennis sandals - with similar comfort. I have it in green, also.

Love the comfort - These are extremely comfortable especially because I need to wear a custom orthotic, and these sandals are totally orthotic friendly. I also have a wide toe box and this shoe does accommodate my width. I really love them and have gotten many compliments.

Looks exceed comfort - What a cute shoe! If only the toe box were bigger (my big toe hit it when walking) and the inside instep had a different design (like the new Naot Bramble). They have minimal arch support and I took notice from previous reviews who said that it gave them blister, etc. Naot makes wonderful sandals and it looks like the problems with this shoe have been corrected with the new Bramble.

Extraordinary for comfort and looks - I purchased the Naot "Gardenia" in Anchorage, Alaska last year as my feet were killing me. I put these on and felt instant relief. Naot Gardenia: Comfort, Cuteness and Style! Naot Gardenia is a VERY pretty, very comfortable shoe. I have it in the mint green and get compliments EVERYWHERE. I regularly wear DANSKO and have come to expect comfort from high-priced sandals. You get that from this pair of Naot’s. My legs, feet, back and knees feel wonderful at the end of a long day of walking. I wear these sans socks in the summer - with shorts, skirts, and pants. In winter (I'm a New Yorker) they are GREAT with socks, tights, or (ugh) pantyhose. The comfort of Dansko or Birkenstock, but much, much more feminine and pretty! I'm a size 9 - got the 40s which are roomy without socks, perfect with. Yes, I'm a Zappos fan, as well. GREAT service, fast shipping.

Great comfort sandal but not stylish - I saw a coworker wearing brown Gardenia shoes and I fell in love with it, I got a black one thinking it will be easy to match it with any color. I did not like the black color and the material leather that was used, it was not stylish and when I tried it on it does not look wonderful with pants or shorts but look wonderful on skirts. Since I don’t most of the time wear skirts I decided to return it and exchange it with another Naot, but different style sandal.

Naot Gardenia Copper Leather/Java Nubuck - I tried these sandals in a 40 & 39. I actually wear an 8-8 1/2. The 39 fit better; however it cut my instep top because the leather is real stiff. I would call the color Bronze, not Copper. It is more brown than rust. I decided that it was not a good style for me. I need more stability along the arch area.

Most comfortable - I bought this shoe before and was amazed at how comfortable it was, I first had Clarks, they were wonderful, then tried Merrils they were better, and then bought Naots, they were the best. Really good for all day on your feet. This color is true copper with a sheen.

The shoe felt a little small. My normal size 40 was too tight in the toe bed but ok in the length. The size 41 was quite comfy in the toe bed but too long in the length. Don't feel like my heel was centered over the heel support in the sole. The Copper color is BEAUTIFUL. A rich brown with a bit of a sheen. The overnight delivery was fantastic.

Naot Gardenia: Really liked the style, but the toe box is too big and allows your foot to slide forward. The leather across the top edge of toe box is not soft, so it cuts into my skin. Large enough to even wear socks. Returning.

Disappointed - My feet hurt after about 4 hours at work when I wear these sandals. I do not do a wonderful deal on my feet. It seems the toe area is the main problem. People at work have said they think the sandals are cute. I would not buy another pair.

Happy surprise! I just got these sandals, and although I haven't worn them around for a day or two, I am very happily surprised that they fit me so well and feel so good! I've had good luck with Naot in the past, but have only had their open-toe shoes. Unfortunately for me, my toes are really NOT my best feature, so I look, most of the time futilely, for sandals like this, that are cute with skirts or pants, like shoes are, and still hide the toes, like shoes don't. These fit the bill AND my feet! Fantastic! I think I'll order them in black also... btw, the copper color is very subtly metallic and really quite nice. And the toe box is roomy and comfortable, important for unlucky hammertoe owners.

My second pair. I purchased the black Gardenia last summer in Maine. The shoe is wonderful. This summer I am going to Switzerland and Austria on vacation and ordered the copper color. Love these sandals!!! These are the most comfortable sandals I own. There is plenty of room for those of us who have a normal to wide foot. They have a nice look to them -- can either be dressed up or dressed down. They are extremely well made with quality leather. They have a nice arch support and have a little bit of a metatarsal support built right in. I am a school teacher who stands/walks on tiled concrete all day. I can wear these sandals from 6:30am till 10:00pm with no discomfort. I have never had a pair of sandals my feet didn't begin to hurt in after a long day until now. These sandals are amazing!

Not for skinny feet - I really like the look of this shoe, and its versatility - jeans, casual skirt. When I tried the sandals on for the first time, they felt very comfortable. After wearing them a bunch, my enthusiasm dimmed a bit. I have skinny, flat feet and the toe box is too roomy for me which makes them less comfortable than I thought they'd be, although not horribly so. In the end, I feel like they look a bit clod-hopperish on me, but still think they're a wonderful choice for someone with less skinny feet.

Good comfort - I'm on my feet all day and have trouble finding sandals that are comfortable for any long length of time. These sandals have been successful! There is plenty of room in the toebox. I have medium/wide feet and these seem to give me the right amount of space. I wear a 10 medium or wide and I bought the 41 which was perfect. I've had compliments on these sandals though I think they look a tad bit clunky. I would buy them again though.

I love Gardenia! I have several styles of Naot sandals, and I have to use a custom made insole. Gardenia is my favorite, both for comfort and looks. It is light in weight, and does not slip around on my foot. In fact, once I put it on, I can forget about it and go about my business. I think it looks good with pants or skirts, too. I have it in black and brown, and I might try to get it in other colors! It is my favorite shoe!

Naot rules for Plantar Fasciitis sufferers! I bought this shoe 2 weeks ago and have worn it constantly....... well, when not wearing my other Naot favorites! My feet ached with plantar fasciitis and heel spurs until I began wearing Naots..... now it's bearable.... not gone, but I'm able to walk again without extreme pain. I thought the cross strap would bother me, but since it uses Velcro it's adjustable. Well worth the investment!

A little clunky - As I looked down on these from above, I realized that they have much more of the "comfort" shoe look than I'd realized ahead of time. I'd hoped for something a little trimmer to wear with tights and a skirt, but these have such a sturdy base that they're not as feminine as I wanted. They're true to size, but with no extra room for socks.

Gardenia -- Toffee Leather - These shoes do break in quite a bit. I wouldn't order up a size. The metal buckle on the strap does rub on the foot.

Love these shoes! I had to have closed toe shoes for work. These guys feel like a dream and are really cute! I will definitely be buying in black! I actually wear a 7.5-8 and I read the other reviews and decided to initially order the 8. They were huge on me. Gardenia -- Toffee Leather - A nice summer sandal. The metal loop for the strap occasionally rubs on the side of the foot. Didn't notice much difference between the size 38 and the size 39.

Did you ever read a book that was so enjoyable that you wished it wouldn't end? That's the feeling that I have about these sandals...they are so comfortable that I've been wearing them almost every day & I hope that they don't wear out too soon. They are summery, but the closed front allows me to wear them to work easily...I work in a corporate office where open toed sandals are frowned on as being too casual.

Best sandals ever!! These sandals are worth every penny! They are the most comfortable shoe I've ever slipped into. The design is simply sweet and you can walk miles in them. They are wonderful for traveling and I highly recommend them. I have two pairs and are considering a third. The only suggestion is to order a size up from what you actually wear, I wear a euro 36 and ordered a 37 because this brand runs small. Try the difference among this company and the other leading brands that claim they are designed for comfort, I promise you will not be disappointed!!!

The Best Shoe I Ever Owned - This is my first pair of Naot’s, but it won't be my last. In fact, I just bought Naot Orchid and will write a review after wearing them awhile. This shoe (Gardenia) is the most comfortable shoe I ever had-it molds to the foot but provides wonderful support with an excellent arch. I have narrow ankles and flat feet with an arthritic ankle and these give me the support I need. I have many pairs of Ecco’s but these have better arch support than my Ecco shoes. I like that they are closed toe so I can wear them year round in California. I have received many compliments on them. I wear a 9.5 so I ended up with a size 41. The toffee brown is a nice deep but not too dark brown. Order from Zappos-they are fantastic!!

WONDERFUL sandals! I love these sandals! They seem very sturdy and well-made, yet light in weight. They have built-in arch support, a toe box high enough to allow for the utmost toe comfort, and a Velcro-adjustable strap; they are wonderfully comfortable. I initially was attracted to the style, which protects most of the foot, but has a feminine leaf cut-out detail. It's a wonderful every-day shoe, but dressy enough to wear with skirts.

Neat looking style for "dressy" flats! I like the sandals but after wearing them for a day I find that I should have ordered one size larger as my toes are "bumping" the end of the toe box. My other Naot's are sandles and the size 39 is perfect but then they have open toes, too. I also wear orthodics in my sandals.

Patterned mary-jane flatties - Comfortable, stylish, can wear them with pants, shorts or some skirts. Shaping meant that I had to have a half size bigger than usual...I have a v long middle toe on both feet which makes more rounded styles a better fit.

Cute but missized - Yes, truly a half size shorter than marked, so consider ordering up a size.. Very cute, and the foot bed is wonderfully soft and supportive. I would have re-ordered in a larger size if not for the unfortunate angle of the leather at the edge of the instep, sewn in such a way that it cut into both feet, although the shoe was not at all tight. I saw blisters in my future, so decided to send it back. Too bad.

I love these sandals - I ordered the blue one. It's really cute. I love the Naot footbed. It is so comfortable. But they suggest ordering the bigger size because these sandals run small. Cool Shoes - I had looked at this shoe on a few other web sites and the color was different at each site. Naot Gardenia - Stylish! Nice colors to choose from. Lots of toe room which makes it very comfortable in the toe area. The strap is something one would have to get used to because it rubs against the top of the foot. But wearing a pantyhose or a light pair of sox should solve the little problem. I've got lots of pairs of Naot sandals and I love most all of them!

I've been on a shoe buying spree as I have heel spurs and my old sandals don't feel good. I bought a size 8 but they are a bit too short. I've got a minor ingrown big toe-nail and they pinched a bit and caused some hurt. But I'm not giving up on this brand. I'm going to exchange the sandals I got today for a size bigger. Perhaps that will take care of it. They are fairly well made. I love the care and detail of the foot bed. I can't jump up and down and tell you "buy this shoe" just yet. But I do think its worth trying this shoe and others from Naot if you have problem feet.

Perfect Choice - Bought several celery green pieces (skirt, shirts) for my 2005 spring wardrobe (somewhat bohemian, not tailored),loved the look of these, and knew the Naot brand well. I'm a 10.5, very high arch, med width,don't like sandals that fall off, and never before considered buying a GREEN SHOE (who would)! So I bought both the 42 and 43 sizes, walked around the house in both, and wound up returning the 43. TALK ABOUT COMFORT (the arch is less than best for me, but it's no problem). Yeah, they're a little prissy but the casual look counters it. They are really something, too, with drapery flax or navy linen drawstring pants! By the way, that front ankle strap is velcro, the top front strip is a teeny bit brighter than the rest of the shoe, and the topstitching is red. Quite the winner.

Adorable, runs small - I ordered these elsewhere, before I saw them at Zappo's. I wear a 9 or 9.5 depending on the shoe, so I ordered the 40. They feel pretty good, but my toes just hit the end of the shoe. I haven't worn them outside yet, so I haven't decided whether or not to size up. If I do I'll order them from Zappo's. If you wear a 9.5, I'd order the 41. But it's adorable in green!

This style wasn't for me, but another was fantastic. Zappos’ description (and service) was perfect. Unfortunately, I found the leather upper stiff - it cut into my foot between the toe and arch area, but the footbed was truly remarkable. I must return this style, but was so impressed with the footbed I ordered "Nice". I am very pleased with them and will try other Naot styles.

Most comfortable from the get-go - I have worn these sandals twice - both for a day of work and then shopping afterwards. I have plantar fasciitis and it hasn't bothered me with these sandals. It's nice to remove the insole for an insert, but I haven't needed to use mine with these. I most of the time wear a 7 wide and these fit perfect. Little more than I wanted to spend, but oh so worth it.

These sandals are cute, light and so comfortable -- I feel like I am wearing slippers. They fit true to size (I wear 7.5 and the 38 fit well), have moderate arch support, and the toe box is roomy. I like that the cross straps have velcro to adjust for a custom fit, and the inside is softly lined. They will look good with pants, jeans and casual skirts/dresses.

Everyday comfort - This shoe works very well with my custom dress shoe orthotic inserted below the removable insole. You could also remove the insole and insert a full orthotic. Looks exceed comfort - What a cute shoe! If only the toe box were bigger (my big toe hit it when walking) and the inside instep had a different design (like the new Naot Bramble). They have minimal arch support and I took notice from previous reviews who said that it gave them blister, etc. Naot makes wonderful sandals and it looks like the problems with this shoe have been corrected with the new Bramble.

Naot Gardenia: Comfort, Cuteness and Style! Naot Gardenia is a VERY pretty, very comfortable shoe. I have it in the mint green and get compliments EVERYWHERE. I regularly wear DANSKO and have come to expect comfort from high-priced sandals. You get that from this pair of Naot’s. My legs, feet, back and knees feel wonderful at the end of a long day of walking. I wear these sans socks in the summer - with shorts, skirts, and pants. Great comfort sandal but not stylish - I saw a coworker wearing brown Gardenia shoes and I fell in love with it, I got a black one thinking it will be easy to match it with any color. I did not like the black color and the material leather that was used, it was not stylish and when I tried it on it does not look wonderful with pants or shorts but look wonderful on skirts. Since I don’t most of the time wear skirts I decided to return it and exchange it with another Naot, but different style sandal.

So-O-O comfortable! I have been looking for sandals that would be comfortable with a bunion I have and these are the ones! And they are cute also. I have a pair of shoes that I bought in Israel by Naot and I hate taking them off my feet!

Naot Gardenia Copper Leather/Java Nubuck - I tried these sandals in a 40 & 39. I actually wear an 8-8 1/2. The 39 fit better; however it cut my instep top because the leather is real stiff. I would call the color Bronze, not Copper. It is more brown than rust. I decided that it was not a good style for me. I need more stability along the arch area.

Most comfortable - I bought this shoe before and was amazed at how comfortable it was, I first had Clarks, they were wonderful, then tried Merrils they were better, and then bought Naots, they were the best. Really good for all day on your feet. This color is true copper with a sheen.

The shoe felt a little small. My normal size 40 was too tight in the toe bed but ok in the length. The size 41 was quite comfy in the toe bed but too long in the length. Don't feel like my heel was centered over the heel support in the sole. The Copper color is BEAUTIFUL. A rich brown with a bit of a sheen. The overnight delivery was fantastic.

Naot Gardenia: Really liked the style, but the toe box is too big and allows your foot to slide forward. The leather across the top edge of toe box is not soft, so it cuts into my skin. Large enough to even wear socks. Returning.

Disappointed - My feet hurt after about 4 hours at work when I wear these sandals. I do not do a wonderful deal on my feet. It seems the toe area is the main problem. People at work have said they think the sandals are cute. I would not buy another pair.

Happy surprise! I just got these sandals, and although I haven't worn them around for a day or two, I am very happily surprised that they fit me so well and feel so good! I've had good luck with Naot in the past, but have only had their open-toe shoes. Unfortunately for me, my toes are really NOT my best feature, so I look, most of the time futilely, for sandals like this, that are cute with skirts or pants, like shoes are, and still hide the toes, like shoes don't. These fit the bill AND my feet! Fantastic! I think I'll order them in black also... btw, the copper color is very subtly metallic and really quite nice. And the toe box is roomy and comfortable, important for unlucky hammertoe owners.

I LOVE these sandals - I can where these sandals all day and at the end of the day my feet feel wonderful! Perfect fit and style for me. My first pair of these sandals was bought in a store so I knew the exact size to order. I believe this style ran a bit larger.

My second pair. I purchased the black Gardenia last summer in Maine. The shoe is wonderful. This summer I am going to Switzerland and Austria on vacation and ordered the copper color. These will be the only sandals I will take. They will take up little room in my luggage and they are very light so as not to ad extra bulk and weight.

Black Gardenia - Cute and comfortable. Works with skirts or pants. I ordered a half size up because of a review which stated it felt a half size smaller than marked, and it's perfect.

Love these sandals!!! These are the most comfortable sandals I own. There is plenty of room for those of us who have a normal to wide foot. They have a nice look to them -- can either be dressed up or dressed down. They are extremely well made with quality leather. They have a nice arch support and have a little bit of a metatarsal support built right in. I am a school teacher who stands/walks on tiled concrete all day. I can wear these sandals from 6:30am till 10:00pm with no discomfort. I have never had a pair of sandals my feet didn't begin to hurt in after a long day until now. These sandals are amazing!

Perfect Shoe - I have a very difficult time finding sandals because of arch problems. This is the only shoe I can wear without adding special arch supports. It's so cute and I get a lot of comments, especially with the bright colors (I have several pairs).

I really like the look of the Gardenia. However, the front of the shoe is a very tight fit. My left foot is fine. My Right foot which is slightly bigger kills.
