Naot gunmetal flat - Gunmetal sandal is exactly as represented in the picture and on foot. Comfortable, cool-looking sandal that has a little bit of gladiator appeal. Naot does cork footbed right: more esthetic shape, a little higher platform, no "duckfoot" look as w/other brands. Whoever came up with rhinestone look should be rewarded for creativity! Naot shoes have better durability than comparables; one pr lasted 4 yrs. Thought I would return-not.

My summer wardrobe shoe - This adorable sandal runs on the short side. I would definitely order a size up… wonderful arch support, an absolutely wonderful look for the summer. I got them in 4 different colors. Comfortable to walk in... I saw them in a catalog and went straight to Zappos to see if the had them and wah-la! Good luck.

Comfort with some flair! The footbed on this sandal is amazing! The leather is soft. Hopefully the elastic around the top of foot will loosen a bit as that was my only "concern". The look is classy comfort. I may order this one in more colors!

Naot Sandals Ashley - Love them. This is my third pair! So comfortable, wear with "snappy casual" confidence. Can walk for miles in them, so wonderful for shopping anywhere. I always receive compliments. I just purchased the cherry red and they are tres chic in colour. My cool, hip 77 year old mother has them, too!

I now have 4 of theses shoes!!! If you are looking for wonderful looking, wonderful feeling summer sandals, these are it! Naots have wonderful arch support and are soft on the feet. I just got the patent leather in both the cherry red and black and they are beautiful. The red is a deep cherry red that is going to work so well with everything this summer and the black will be the "dress up" shoe. I actually wear a 39 in European sandals, but the 40 fits perfect. The shipping is amazing and the customer service is perfect!

VERY CUTE SANDAL BUT COULD BE MORE COMFORTABLE - I bought the Naot Ashley in Metal leather in size 41 as I most of the time either wear a 9.5 in medium width sandals (Naot only has medium width sandals) or a size 9 in wide width sandals. I've bought Naot before and although this shoe is VERY cute and I love the Metal leather, the footbed isn't as comfortable as it could be. I wish Naot would make WIDE width sandals, too. This medium width is okay on my foot but, just on my left foot, the strap across the instep rubs a bit on big bone below my big toe (I don't have a bunion). It's not too bad, and I hope the leather will stretch a bit as I wear them because I really love the look of these shoes. They are so cute and different. The footbed could be a little more padded for comfort but its okay as it's shaped to your foot. They are a super company! Their prices are getting a bit high lately though... it seems as if they used to be more reasonably priced.

COMFORT THAT'S ACTUALLY ATTRACTIVE! What a delight to find a sandal that not only comfortable, but actually attractive! The height of the wedge is just right - not too high. I find a slight wedge more comfortable than a totally flat shoe. I highly recommend this sandal.

Foot cloud - I'm on my 6th pair of Ashley’s and planning to buy more - if I could just find my size again. They sell out fast! The light weight and excellent arch supports allow my feet to "melt" into the footbed. I can walk and stand for hours without pain or fatigue. When friends compliment me on my shoes I offer to have them try them on. The response is ALWAYS the same. Their jaws drop, their eyes pop and they gasp, "O my goodness...these are soo comfortable! I want a pair!" The rhinestones make them just a tad above casual. I wear them EVERYWHERE. I never considered paying this much for a pair of shoes, but these are definitely worth the price.

Like Strapping a Feather Pillow to Your Foot! It's hard to find a comfort shoe with style, but these fit the bill. I bought a pair last spring and wore them almost every day this summer; just bought another color. With the rhinestones and black patent they're dressy enough to wear with skirts or capris; they're wonderful with jeans too. The metal leather is also a wonderful neutral that goes with anything. These are so worth the price!

My sandals melted! I wrote in before about these sandals and they were the best thing I had found...but since then, the soles have melted off and I had to return them. Now I am afraid to buy Naot’s again! Has this happened to anyone else? Any other suggestions for alternative sandals? I'm back to ugly sneakers and ugly outfits to match!

Like Walking on Marshmallows - I have tried several brands of comfort shoes. The NAOT brand is by far the MOST comfortable. Wearing them is like walking on marshmallows. Couldn't be more pleased - I had broken my foot and am required to wear flat sandals for a few more months. It was hard to find sandals that had support and looked smart. I am use to high heal sandals and current styles. These have been wonderful. They support my foot and look stylish with pants and skirts. Super Comfort! These are the most comfortable shoes ever! I could walk for miles in them from the start with basically no break-in period. It's hard to tell in the picture, but the band with the rhinestones has elastic between the leather segments, so it gives a little with every step and is super-comfy. Naot is my new favorite brand!

Naot Ashley - After exchanging Ashley for a full size larger, it fits much better, although it could be a hair wider and longer. I have a rather high instep, so the upper leather band can get a bit tight at times. All in all it is a wonderful casual sandal to wear for shopping, etc.

Noat so bad - Well, I have bunions and a few other "issues" with my feet. I most of the time wear sneakers - which aren’t even THAT comfortable and limit my wardrobe choices severely. A couple friends highly recommended Naot’s as very comfortable to walk in. After receiving them in the mail...I was afraid to walk outside with them and commit! They felt uncomfortable. Then I realized I wasn’t pulling them all the way on to my foot (I guess I can’t just step into them). When I finally took the tag off and wore them outside...well, the first day they hurt pretty badly and I was very upset. I had to go back to sneakers. After a day or two of sneakers, I put the NAOT’S back on...and walked slower. Now they seem perfect and they are not too ugly like my sneakers. I still don’t think I am able to walk at my usual brisk pace for hours on end with these sandals and they are not quite my style...but they do feel much more comfortable now and I am able to wear more fashionable outfits! So...I like them. I don’t LOVE them...but I like them and might even purchase NAOT’S again someday. Please keep in mind; I am the fussiest shoe-wearer and buyer I know!

Gorgeous and Comfy - one year shoe only... For the most part, I agree with all the glowing reviews of these sandals. However, I have worn them off and on all spring/summer and one of the rhinestones fell out and the elastic is just about shot. They do not stay on as well as before and the comfort level is decreased as now my foot is slipping. I had hoped to wear these sandals more than one summer, but it looks like they may be done at the end of this season!

GREAT SHOE! I bought these for a recent trip to Rome. We walked all day and I kept wearing these sandals because they were by far the most comfortable sandals I had. No break in period. The elastic strap kept the shoe on my foot and the shoe did not rub or pinch at all. I did have to go one size down for the strap to fit snugly. The suede lining prevented the sandals from feeling sweaty in the extreme heat and the cork footbed provided generous cushioning. I bought the metal color and although other reviewers complained about the black "over glaze" wearing off, I liked the way they looked more over time. Not the prettiest shoe in the world, but in general more stylish than most sandals of this ilk. Buy them!!!

Best shoe ever! I live in the city of Chicago and routinely walk 3 to 4 miles a day in this shoe. These are hard miles on concrete sidewalks. It is the most comfortable sandal I have ever owned (and I've owned plenty). Started with a copper colored pair. Then, bought a black pair, too. The description is not just marketing jargon. The sole does have plenty of support and shapes to your foot for maximum comfort. Buy these shoes without reservation!

Disappointed in distressed finish - This shoe is comfortable, stylish, true to size and I picked the color that looks like black over gold/silver undertone because of the "distressed" finish. However, the more they are worn, packed, handled, the more black rubs off, and soon they will be "gold shoes." Any suggestions about how to add back black, and how to make it last? I tried black wax polish - but when buffed to rid of pasty waxy feel, they are gold once more.

Great Shoe! This is my second pair of Naots and probably won't be my last. I took them on a recent trip to Italy and they ended up being the most comfortable shoe I wore! Are you kidding me?! These run very small! I can't believe all the positive remarks on "true to size" for these sandals. I have worn a 7 or a 7-1/2 medium/normal width for 20 years and I bought an 8 in these and they are small, length and width. What?! Buy your regular size at your own risk.

Naot Ashley - Love this shoe. It is comfortable and stylish. As with all of my sandals, would be better to be able to get 1/2 sizes as well as a narrow width. When the elastic stretches from wearing, they will probably be too loose.

Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support

Something for us with narrow feet - These sandals are well made and have quality material. I find it hard to wear most shoes because my foot is very long and narrow. Not the case with these.

Amazing comfort, delicate enough for casual work - Because of orthopedic problems, I need to wear orthotics in my sandals or wear Birkenstock-style cork bed shoes that don't look horrible. But these sandals are wonderful! They have the same support as a Birkenstock or Mephisto but look a lot more delicate on the foot, and have some height to them so they can be worn with casual skirts or capris. I wish I could afford a million pairs of Naot.

Great Comfort Sandals - These are as comfortable as they are attractive. Love them! I have them in 3 different colors. Wear them from Spring to Winter. (And in winter, I wear them with an anklet).

Dressy and comfortable! This is a wonderful shoe to dress up your summer wardrobe. I bought Ashley in both gold and copper colors and love them both. The copper is my favorite because the color is more subtle and I like the black soles with the black elastic in the strap. Great comfort and support. I wish they would make this shoe with a back strap so I would it would look a little more businesslike for work. This style seems to run narrower than a lot of the Naot sandals. It does run a little short, so I ordered my second pair one size larger.

Super Comfortable - I love these Naot sandals. This is my second pair and I bought a pair for my mom as well. I have problems with tendonitis and I am able to walk hours in these sandals. ***** I’m most of the time a 9 1/2 and take a 41 in Naot.

Finally! A comfortable AND wonderful-looking sandal - I love this sandal so much that I bought two in different colors. I'm going to Italy for 2 weeks and wanted something 'smart' looking to wear with capris and skirts--but something that my poor feet could stand--and this is it! The top straps are supple leather so you never feel anything cut into your foot (a rare find) and the soles are so unbelievably comfortable. I have MANY foot problems yet me feet think like they're in bedroom slippers when I'm wearing these. Highly recommended! I did get a 10, though, and I most of the time wear a 9.

GREAT LOOKS WITH GREAT COMFORT - I have four other pairs of Naot’s in either the Ashley or Jenna (similar styles, decoration is different) but this gold leather with the crystals on the band is both the most stylish yet as well as offering the wonderful Naot support all day. No, they are not Birkenstocks! So many people ask me if these are Birks. They are so much better. The negative heel thing does not work for plantar fasciitis or Achilles tendonitis. The Heel height on these is just right for all day wear. That footprint in the sand stuff is a pretty close description. I wear some serious orthotics. So shoes are a problem for me. These have the right amount of support for my flat narrow feet. The elastic across the top keeps my feet from sliding through as the most of the time do w/ banded slides. Yet the elastic is camouflaged by the leather squares. As far as looks-they are adorable. The gold is subtle, the rhinestones are subtle. I would consider them a neutral. They look wonderful on bare legs (not tanned yet) and will probably be gorgeous w/ a tan. I like them better than my Mephistos, which are the only other sandals I can wear w/out my orthotics for any length of time. Everyone seems to love them from my 13 yr. old daughter (who already borrowed them) to my mom (who noticed them instantly). These are keepers!

Great Shoe - These are super sandals! I have a narrow foot so I wasn't sure they would fit, but they did and I love them. They look as good as they feel, and I will continue to buy this brand. I purchased the brown and love the way they look, especially the way the "jewels" dress it up.

Naot gunmetal flat - Gunmetal sandal is exactly as represented in the picture and on foot. Comfortable, cool-looking sandal that has a little bit of gladiator appeal. Naot does cork footbed right: more esthetic shape, a little higher platform, no "duckfoot" look as w/other brands. Whoever came up with rhinestone look should be rewarded for creativity! Naot shoes have better durability than comparables; one pr lasted 4 yrs. Thought I would return-not.

My summer wardrobe shoe - This adorable sandal runs on the short side. I would definitely order a size up… wonderful arch support, an absolutely wonderful look for the summer. Comfort with some flair! The footbed on this sandal is amazing! The leather is soft. Hopefully the elastic around the top of foot will loosen a bit as that was my only "concern". The look is classy comfort. I may order this one in more colors!

I now have 4 of theses shoes!!! If you are looking for wonderful looking, wonderful feeling summer sandals, these are it! Naots have wonderful arch support and are soft on the feet. I just got the patent leather in both the cherry red and black and they are beautiful. The red is a deep cherry red that is going to work so well with everything this summer and the black will be the "dress up" shoe. I actually wear a 39 in European sandals, but the 40 fits perfect. The shipping is amazing and the customer service is perfect!

VERY CUTE SANDAL BUT COULD BE MORE COMFORTABLE - I bought the Naot Ashley in Metal leather in size 41 as I most of the time either wear a 9.5 in medium width sandals (Naot only has medium width sandals) or a size 9 in wide width sandals. I've bought Naot before and although this shoe is VERY cute and I love the Metal leather, the footbed isn't as comfortable as it could be. I wish Naot would make WIDE width sandals, too. This medium width is okay on my foot but, just on my left foot, the strap across the instep rubs a bit on big bone below my big toe (I don't have a bunion). It's not too bad, and I hope the leather will stretch a bit as I wear them because I really love the look of these shoes. They are so cute and different. The footbed could be a little more padded for comfort but its okay as it's shaped to your foot. They are a super company! Their prices are getting a bit high lately though... it seems as if they used to be more reasonably priced.

Foot cloud - I'm on my 6th pair of Ashley’s and planning to buy more - if I could just find my size again. They sell out fast! The light weight and excellent arch supports allow my feet to "melt" into the footbed. I can walk and stand for hours without pain or fatigue. When friends compliment me on my shoes I offer to have them try them on. The response is ALWAYS the same. Their jaws drop, their eyes pop and they gasp, "O my goodness...these are soo comfortable! I want a pair!" The rhinestones make them just a tad above casual. I wear them EVERYWHERE. I never considered paying this much for a pair of shoes, but these are definitely worth the price.

Like Strapping a Feather Pillow to Your Foot! It's hard to find a comfort shoe with style, but these fit the bill. I bought a pair last spring and wore them almost every day this summer; just bought another color. With the rhinestones and black patent they're dressy enough to wear with skirts or capris; they're wonderful with jeans too. The metal leather is also a wonderful neutral that goes with anything. My sandals melted! I wrote in before about these sandals and they were the best thing I had found...but since then, the soles have melted off and I had to return them. Like Walking on Marshmallows - I have tried several brands of comfort shoes. The NAOT brand is by far the MOST comfortable. Wearing them is like walking on marshmallows. Couldn't be more pleased - I had broken my foot and am required to wear flat sandals for a few more months. It was hard to find sandals that had support and looked smart. I am use to high heal sandals and current styles. These have been wonderful. They support my foot and look stylish with pants and skirts. Super Comfort! These are the most comfortable shoes ever! I could walk for miles in them from the start with basically no break-in period. It's hard to tell in the picture, but the band with the rhinestones has elastic between the leather segments, so it gives a little with every step and is super-comfy. Naot is my new favorite brand!

Naot Ashley - After exchanging Ashley for a full size larger, it fits much better, although it could be a hair wider and longer. I have a rather high instep, so the upper leather band can get a bit tight at times. All in all it is a wonderful casual sandal to wear for shopping, etc.

Noat so bad - Well, I have bunions and a few other "issues" with my feet. I most of the time wear sneakers - which aren’t even THAT comfortable and limit my wardrobe choices severely. A couple friends highly recommended Naot’s as very comfortable to walk in. After receiving them in the mail...I was afraid to walk outside with them and commit! They felt uncomfortable. Then I realized I wasn’t pulling them all the way on to my foot (I guess I can’t just step into them). When I finally took the tag off and wore them outside...well, the first day they hurt pretty badly and I was very upset. I had to go back to sneakers. After a day or two of sneakers, I put the NAOT’S back on...and walked slower. Now they seem perfect and they are not too ugly like my sneakers. I still don’t think I am able to walk at my usual brisk pace for hours on end with these sandals and they are not quite my style...but they do feel much more comfortable now and I am able to wear more fashionable outfits! So...I like them. I don’t LOVE them...but I like them and might even purchase NAOT’S again someday. Please keep in mind; I am the fussiest shoe-wearer and buyer I know!

Gorgeous and Comfy - one year shoe only... For the most part, I agree with all the glowing reviews of these sandals. However, I have worn them off and on all spring/summer and one of the rhinestones fell out and the elastic is just about shot. They do not stay on as well as before and the comfort level is decreased as now my foot is slipping. I had hoped to wear these sandals more than one summer, but it looks like they may be done at the end of this season!

GREAT SHOE! I bought these for a recent trip to Rome. We walked all day and I kept wearing these sandals because they were by far the most comfortable sandals I had. No break in period. The elastic strap kept the shoe on my foot and the shoe did not rub or pinch at all. I did have to go one size down for the strap to fit snugly. The suede lining prevented the sandals from feeling sweaty in the extreme heat and the cork footbed provided generous cushioning. I bought the metal color and although other reviewers complained about the black "over glaze" wearing off, I liked the way they looked more over time. Not the prettiest shoe in the world, but in general more stylish than most sandals of this ilk. Buy them!!!

Best shoe ever! I live in the city of Chicago and routinely walk 3 to 4 miles a day in this shoe. These are hard miles on concrete sidewalks. It is the most comfortable sandal I have ever owned (and I've owned plenty). Started with a copper colored pair. Then, bought a black pair, too. The description is not just marketing jargon. The sole does have plenty of support and shapes to your foot for maximum comfort. Buy these shoes without reservation!

Great sandal - I was in St. Thomas this summer. While shopping at a local boutique the owner of the shop had a pair of these on. I remarked what a wonderful looking sandal she was wearing. It was her testimony to the comfort of these shoes plus the obvious wonderful style, I decided to order them. Very, very comfortable. Can walk in them all day. Great arch. Disappointed in distressed finish - This shoe is comfortable, stylish, true to size and I picked the color that looks like black over gold/silver undertone because of the "distressed" finish. However, the more they are worn, packed, handled, the more black rubs off, and soon they will be "gold shoes." Any suggestions about how to add back black, and how to make it last? I tried black wax polish - but when buffed to rid of pasty waxy feel, they are gold once more.

The size 35 is definitely not a size 4 and so, I was disappointed. I would have kept this shoe in a heartbeat because the style is cute and the rhinestones are a nice touch to dress up the sandal.

Great Shoe! This is my second pair of Naots and probably won't be my last. I took them on a recent trip to Italy and they ended up being the most comfortable shoe I wore! The fit is absolutely true to size and they were so comfortable even on the uneven roads in Rome! I wore them all day long with no problems at all! I highly recommend them!

Are you kidding me?! These run very small! I can't believe all the positive remarks on "true to size" for these sandals. I have worn a 7 or a 7-1/2 medium/normal width for 20 years and I bought an 8 in these and they are small, length and width. What?! Buy your regular size at your own risk.

Own brown & black and had problem with metal leather - The most comfortable sandals. I own a pair in both brown & black leather. Amazing comfort, delicate enough for casual work - Because of orthopedic problems, I need to wear orthotics in my sandals or wear Birkenstock-style cork bed shoes that don't look horrible. But these sandals are wonderful! They have the same support as a Birkenstock or Mephisto but look a lot more delicate on the foot, and have some height to them so they can be worn with casual skirts or capris. I wish I could afford a million pairs of Naot.

Dressy and comfortable! This is a wonderful shoe to dress up your summer wardrobe. I bought Ashley in both gold and copper colors and love them both. The copper is my favorite because the color is more subtle and I like the black soles with the black elastic in the strap. Great comfort and support. I wish they would make this shoe with a back strap so I would it would look a little more businesslike for work. This style seems to run narrower than a lot of the Naot sandals. It does run a little short, so I ordered my second pair one size larger.

Finally! A comfortable AND wonderful-looking sandal - I love this sandal so much that I bought two in different colors. I'm going to Italy for 2 weeks and wanted something 'smart' looking to wear with capris and skirts--but something that my poor feet could stand--and this is it! The top straps are supple leather so you never feel anything cut into your foot (a rare find) and the soles are so unbelievably comfortable. I have MANY foot problems yet me feet think like they're in bedroom slippers when I'm wearing these. Highly recommended! I did get a 10, though, and I most of the time wear a 9.

No, they are not Birkenstocks! So many people ask me if these are Birks. They are so much better. The negative heel thing does not work for plantar fasciitis or Achilles tendonitis. The Heel height on these is just right for all day wear. That footprint in the sand stuff is a pretty close description. I wear some serious orthotics. So shoes are a problem for me. These have the right amount of support for my flat narrow feet. The elastic across the top keeps my feet from sliding through as the most of the time do w/ banded slides. Yet the elastic is camouflaged by the leather squares. As far as looks-they are adorable. The gold is subtle, the rhinestones are subtle. I would consider them a neutral. They look wonderful on bare legs (not tanned yet) and will probably be gorgeous w/ a tan. I like them better than my Mephistos, which are the only other sandals I can wear w/out my orthotics for any length of time. Everyone seems to love them from my 13 yr. old daughter (who already borrowed them) to my mom (who noticed them instantly). These are keepers!

Naot gunmetal flat - Gunmetal sandal is exactly as represented in the picture and on foot. Comfortable, cool-looking sandal that has a little bit of gladiator appeal. Naot does cork footbed right: more esthetic shape, a little higher platform, no "duckfoot" look as w/other brands. Whoever came up with rhinestone look should be rewarded for creativity! I now have 4 of theses shoes!!! If you are looking for wonderful looking, wonderful feeling summer sandals, these are it! Naots have wonderful arch support and are soft on the feet. I just got the patent leather in both the cherry red and black and they are beautiful. The red is a deep cherry red that is going to work so well with everything this summer and the black will be the "dress up" shoe. I actually wear a 39 in European sandals, but the 40 fits perfect. VERY CUTE SANDAL BUT COULD BE MORE COMFORTABLE - I bought the Naot Ashley in Metal leather in size 41 as I most of the time either wear a 9.5 in medium width sandals (Naot only has medium width sandals) or a size 9 in wide width sandals. I've bought Naot before and although this shoe is VERY cute and I love the Metal leather, the footbed isn't as comfortable as it could be. I wish Naot would make WIDE width sandals, too. This medium width is okay on my foot but, just on my left foot, the strap across the instep rubs a bit on big bone below my big toe (I don't have a bunion). It's not too bad, and I hope the leather will stretch a bit as I wear them because I really love the look of these shoes. They are so cute and different. The footbed could be a little more padded for comfort but its okay as it's shaped to your foot. They are a super company! Their prices are getting a bit high lately though... it seems as if they used to be more reasonably priced.

Foot cloud - I'm on my 6th pair of Ashley’s and planning to buy more - if I could just find my size again. They sell out fast! The light weight and excellent arch supports allow my feet to "melt" into the footbed. I can walk and stand for hours without pain or fatigue. When friends compliment me on my shoes I offer to have them try them on. The response is ALWAYS the same. Their jaws drop, their eyes pop and they gasp, "O my goodness...these are soo comfortable! I want a pair!" The rhinestones make them just a tad above casual. I wear them EVERYWHERE. I never considered paying this much for a pair of shoes, but these are definitely worth the price.

Like Strapping a Feather Pillow to Your Foot! It's hard to find a comfort shoe with style, but these fit the bill. My sandals melted! I wrote in before about these sandals and they were the best thing I had found...but since then, the soles have melted off and I had to return them. Couldn't be more pleased - I had broken my foot and am required to wear flat sandals for a few more months. It was hard to find sandals that had support and looked smart. Super Comfort! These are the most comfortable shoes ever! I could walk for miles in them from the start with basically no break-in period. It's hard to tell in the picture, but the band with the rhinestones has elastic between the leather segments, so it gives a little with every step and is super-comfy. Naot is my new favorite brand!

Naot Ashley - After exchanging Ashley for a full size larger, it fits much better, although it could be a hair wider and longer. I have a rather high instep, so the upper leather band can get a bit tight at times. All in all it is a wonderful casual sandal to wear for shopping, etc.

Noat so bad - Well, I have bunions and a few other "issues" with my feet. I most of the time wear sneakers - which aren’t even THAT comfortable and limit my wardrobe choices severely. A couple friends highly recommended Naot’s as very comfortable to walk in. After receiving them in the mail...I was afraid to walk outside with them and commit! They felt uncomfortable. Then I realized I wasn’t pulling them all the way on to my foot (I guess I can’t just step into them). When I finally took the tag off and wore them outside...well, the first day they hurt pretty badly and I was very upset. I had to go back to sneakers. After a day or two of sneakers, I put the NAOT’S back on...and walked slower. Now they seem perfect and they are not too ugly like my sneakers. I still don’t think I am able to walk at my usual brisk pace for hours on end with these sandals and they are not quite my style...but they do feel much more comfortable now and I am able to wear more fashionable outfits! So...I like them. I don’t LOVE them...but I like them and might even purchase NAOT’S again someday. Please keep in mind; I am the fussiest shoe-wearer and buyer I know!

Gorgeous and Comfy - one year shoe only... For the most part, I agree with all the glowing reviews of these sandals. However, I have worn them off and on all spring/summer and one of the rhinestones fell out and the elastic is just about shot. They do not stay on as well as before and the comfort level is decreased as now my foot is slipping. I had hoped to wear these sandals more than one summer, but it looks like they may be done at the end of this season!

GREAT SHOE! I bought these for a recent trip to Rome. We walked all day and I kept wearing these sandals because they were by far the most comfortable sandals I had. No break in period. The elastic strap kept the shoe on my foot and the shoe did not rub or pinch at all. I did have to go one size down for the strap to fit snugly. The suede lining prevented the sandals from feeling sweaty in the extreme heat and the cork footbed provided generous cushioning. I bought the metal color and although other reviewers complained about the black "over glaze" wearing off, I liked the way they looked more over time. Not the prettiest shoe in the world, but in general more stylish than most sandals of this ilk. Buy them!!!

Best shoe ever! I live in the city of Chicago and routinely walk 3 to 4 miles a day in this shoe. These are hard miles on concrete sidewalks. It is the most comfortable sandal I have ever owned (and I've owned plenty). Started with a copper colored pair. Then, bought a black pair, too. The description is not just marketing jargon. The sole does have plenty of support and shapes to your foot for maximum comfort. Buy these shoes without reservation!

Great sandal - I was in St. Thomas this summer. While shopping at a local boutique the owner of the shop had a pair of these on. I remarked what a wonderful looking sandal she was wearing. Disappointed in distressed finish - This shoe is comfortable, stylish, true to size and I picked the color that looks like black over gold/silver undertone because of the "distressed" finish. However, the more they are worn, packed, handled, the more black rubs off, and soon they will be "gold shoes." Any suggestions about how to add back black, and how to make it last? I tried black wax polish - but when buffed to rid of pasty waxy feel, they are gold once more.

The size 35 is definitely not a size 4 and so, I was disappointed. I would have kept this shoe in a heartbeat because the style is cute and the rhinestones are a nice touch to dress up the sandal.

Great Shoe! This is my second pair of Naots and probably won't be my last. I took them on a recent trip to Italy and they ended up being the most comfortable shoe I wore! Are you kidding me?! These run very small! I can't believe all the positive remarks on "true to size" for these sandals. I have worn a 7 or a 7-1/2 medium/normal width for 20 years and I bought an 8 in these and they are small, length and width. What?! Buy your regular size at your own risk.

Amazing comfort, delicate enough for casual work - Because of orthopedic problems, I need to wear orthotics in my sandals or wear Birkenstock-style cork bed shoes that don't look horrible. But these sandals are wonderful! They have the same support as a Birkenstock or Mephisto but look a lot more delicate on the foot, and have some height to them so they can be worn with casual skirts or capris. I wish I could afford a million pairs of Naot.

Dressy and comfortable! This is a wonderful shoe to dress up your summer wardrobe. I bought Ashley in both gold and copper colors and love them both. The copper is my favorite because the color is more subtle and I like the black soles with the black elastic in the strap. Great comfort and support. I wish they would make this shoe with a back strap so I would it would look a little more businesslike for work. This style seems to run narrower than a lot of the Naot sandals. It does run a little short, so I ordered my second pair one size larger.

Finally! A comfortable AND wonderful-looking sandal - I love this sandal so much that I bought two in different colors. I'm going to Italy for 2 weeks and wanted something 'smart' looking to wear with capris and skirts--but something that my poor feet could stand--and this is it! The top straps are supple leather so you never feel anything cut into your foot (a rare find) and the soles are so unbelievably comfortable. I have MANY foot problems yet me feet think like they're in bedroom slippers when I'm wearing these. Highly recommended! I did get a 10, though, and I most of the time wear a 9.

No, they are not Birkenstocks! So many people ask me if these are Birks. They are so much better. The negative heel thing does not work for plantar fasciitis or Achilles tendonitis. The Heel height on these is just right for all day wear. That footprint in the sand stuff is a pretty close description. I wear some serious orthotics. So shoes are a problem for me. These have the right amount of support for my flat narrow feet. The elastic across the top keeps my feet from sliding through as the most of the time do w/ banded slides. Yet the elastic is camouflaged by the leather squares. As far as looks-they are adorable. The gold is subtle, the rhinestones are subtle. I would consider them a neutral. They look wonderful on bare legs (not tanned yet) and will probably be gorgeous w/ a tan. I like them better than my Mephistos, which are the only other sandals I can wear w/out my orthotics for any length of time. Everyone seems to love them from my 13 yr. old daughter (who already borrowed them) to my mom (who noticed them instantly). These are keepers!

Naot gunmetal flat - Gunmetal sandal is exactly as represented in the picture and on foot. Comfortable, cool-looking sandal that has a little bit of gladiator appeal. Naot does cork footbed right: more esthetic shape, a little higher platform, no "duckfoot" look as w/other brands. Whoever came up with rhinestone look should be rewarded for creativity! Naot shoes have better durability than comparables; one pr lasted 4 yrs. Thought I would return-not.

I now have 4 of theses shoes!!! If you are looking for wonderful looking, wonderful feeling summer sandals, these are it! Naots have wonderful arch support and are soft on the feet. I just got the patent leather in both the cherry red and black and they are beautiful. The red is a deep cherry red that is going to work so well with everything this summer and the black will be the "dress up" shoe. I actually wear a 39 in European sandals, but the 40 fits perfect. The shipping is amazing and the customer service is perfect!

VERY CUTE SANDAL BUT COULD BE MORE COMFORTABLE - I bought the Naot Ashley in Metal leather in size 41 as I most of the time either wear a 9.5 in medium width sandals (Naot only has medium width sandals) or a size 9 in wide width sandals. I've bought Naot before and although this shoe is VERY cute and I love the Metal leather, the footbed isn't as comfortable as it could be. I wish Naot would make WIDE width sandals, too. This medium width is okay on my foot but, just on my left foot, the strap across the instep rubs a bit on big bone below my big toe (I don't have a bunion). It's not too bad, and I hope the leather will stretch a bit as I wear them because I really love the look of these shoes. They are so cute and different. The footbed could be a little more padded for comfort but its okay as it's shaped to your foot. They are a super company! Their prices are getting a bit high lately though... it seems as if they used to be more reasonably priced.

COMFORT THAT'S ACTUALLY ATTRACTIVE! What a delight to find a sandal that not only comfortable, but actually attractive! The height of the wedge is just right - not too high. I find a slight wedge more comfortable than a totally flat shoe. I highly recommend this sandal.

Foot cloud - I'm on my 6th pair of Ashley’s and planning to buy more - if I could just find my size again. They sell out fast! The light weight and excellent arch supports allow my feet to "melt" into the footbed. I can walk and stand for hours without pain or fatigue. When friends compliment me on my shoes I offer to have them try them on. The response is ALWAYS the same. Their jaws drop, their eyes pop and they gasp, "O my goodness...these are soo comfortable! I want a pair!" The rhinestones make them just a tad above casual. I wear them EVERYWHERE. I never considered paying this much for a pair of shoes, but these are definitely worth the price.

Like Strapping a Feather Pillow to Your Foot! It's hard to find a comfort shoe with style, but these fit the bill. I bought a pair last spring and wore them almost every day this summer; just bought another color. With the rhinestones and black patent they're dressy enough to wear with skirts or capris; they're wonderful with jeans too. The metal leather is also a wonderful neutral that goes with anything. These are so worth the price!

My sandals melted! I wrote in before about these sandals and they were the best thing I had found...but since then, the soles have melted off and I had to return them. Like Walking on Marshmallows - I have tried several brands of comfort shoes. The NAOT brand is by far the MOST comfortable. Wearing them is like walking on marshmallows. Couldn't be more pleased - I had broken my foot and am required to wear flat sandals for a few more months. It was hard to find sandals that had support and looked smart. Super Comfort! These are the most comfortable shoes ever! I could walk for miles in them from the start with basically no break-in period. It's hard to tell in the picture, but the band with the rhinestones has elastic between the leather segments, so it gives a little with every step and is super-comfy. Naot is my new favorite brand!

Naot Ashley - After exchanging Ashley for a full size larger, it fits much better, although it could be a hair wider and longer. I have a rather high instep, so the upper leather band can get a bit tight at times. All in all it is a wonderful casual sandal to wear for shopping, etc.

Noat so bad - Well, I have bunions and a few other "issues" with my feet. I most of the time wear sneakers - which aren’t even THAT comfortable and limit my wardrobe choices severely. A couple friends highly recommended Naot’s as very comfortable to walk in. After receiving them in the mail...I was afraid to walk outside with them and commit! They felt uncomfortable. Then I realized I wasn’t pulling them all the way on to my foot (I guess I can’t just step into them). When I finally took the tag off and wore them outside...well, the first day they hurt pretty badly and I was very upset. I had to go back to sneakers. After a day or two of sneakers, I put the NAOT’S back on...and walked slower. Now they seem perfect and they are not too ugly like my sneakers. I still don’t think I am able to walk at my usual brisk pace for hours on end with these sandals and they are not quite my style...but they do feel much more comfortable now and I am able to wear more fashionable outfits! So...I like them. I don’t LOVE them...but I like them and might even purchase NAOT’S again someday. Please keep in mind; I am the fussiest shoe-wearer and buyer I know!

Gorgeous and Comfy - one year shoe only... For the most part, I agree with all the glowing reviews of these sandals. However, I have worn them off and on all spring/summer and one of the rhinestones fell out and the elastic is just about shot. They do not stay on as well as before and the comfort level is decreased as now my foot is slipping. I had hoped to wear these sandals more than one summer, but it looks like they may be done at the end of this season!

GREAT SHOE! I bought these for a recent trip to Rome. We walked all day and I kept wearing these sandals because they were by far the most comfortable sandals I had. No break in period. The elastic strap kept the shoe on my foot and the shoe did not rub or pinch at all. I did have to go one size down for the strap to fit snugly. The suede lining prevented the sandals from feeling sweaty in the extreme heat and the cork footbed provided generous cushioning. I bought the metal color and although other reviewers complained about the black "over glaze" wearing off, I liked the way they looked more over time. Not the prettiest shoe in the world, but in general more stylish than most sandals of this ilk. Buy them!!!

Best shoe ever! I live in the city of Chicago and routinely walk 3 to 4 miles a day in this shoe. These are hard miles on concrete sidewalks. It is the most comfortable sandal I have ever owned (and I've owned plenty). Started with a copper colored pair. Then, bought a black pair, too. The description is not just marketing jargon. Disappointed in distressed finish - This shoe is comfortable, stylish, true to size and I picked the color that looks like black over gold/silver undertone because of the "distressed" finish. However, the more they are worn, packed, handled, the more black rubs off, and soon they will be "gold shoes." Any suggestions about how to add back black, and how to make it last? I tried black wax polish - but when buffed to rid of pasty waxy feel, they are gold once more.

Are you kidding me?! These run very small! I can't believe all the positive remarks on "true to size" for these sandals. I have worn a 7 or a 7-1/2 medium/normal width for 20 years and I bought an 8 in these and they are small, length and width. What?! Buy your regular size at your own risk.

Amazing comfort, delicate enough for casual work - Because of orthopedic problems, I need to wear orthotics in my sandals or wear Birkenstock-style cork bed shoes that don't look horrible. But these sandals are wonderful! They have the same support as a Birkenstock or Mephisto but look a lot more delicate on the foot, and have some height to them so they can be worn with casual skirts or capris. I wish I could afford a million pairs of Naot.

Dressy and comfortable! This is a wonderful shoe to dress up your summer wardrobe. I bought Ashley in both gold and copper colors and love them both. The copper is my favorite because the color is more subtle and I like the black soles with the black elastic in the strap. Great comfort and support. I wish they would make this shoe with a back strap so I would it would look a little more businesslike for work. This style seems to run narrower than a lot of the Naot sandals. It does run a little short, so I ordered my second pair one size larger.

Super Comfortable - I love these Naot sandals. This is my second pair and I bought a pair for my mom as well. I have problems with tendonitis and I am able to walk hours in these sandals. ***** I’m most of the time a 9 1/2 and take a 41 in Naot.

Finally! A comfortable AND wonderful-looking sandal - I love this sandal so much that I bought two in different colors. I'm going to Italy for 2 weeks and wanted something 'smart' looking to wear with capris and skirts--but something that my poor feet could stand--and this is it! The top straps are supple leather so you never feel anything cut into your foot (a rare find) and the soles are so unbelievably comfortable. I have MANY foot problems yet me feet think like they're in bedroom slippers when I'm wearing these. Highly recommended! I did get a 10, though, and I most of the time wear a 9.

GREAT LOOKS WITH GREAT COMFORT - I have four other pairs of Naot’s in either the Ashley or Jenna (similar styles, decoration is different) but this gold leather with the crystals on the band is both the most stylish yet as well as offering the wonderful Naot support all day. They are dressy enough for evenings out.

No, they are not Birkenstocks! So many people ask me if these are Birks. They are so much better. The negative heel thing does not work for plantar fasciitis or Achilles tendonitis. The Heel height on these is just right for all day wear. That footprint in the sand stuff is a pretty close description. I wear some serious orthotics. So shoes are a problem for me. These have the right amount of support for my flat narrow feet. The elastic across the top keeps my feet from sliding through as the most of the time do w/ banded slides. Yet the elastic is camouflaged by the leather squares. As far as looks-they are adorable. The gold is subtle, the rhinestones are subtle. I would consider them a neutral. They look wonderful on bare legs (not tanned yet) and will probably be gorgeous w/ a tan. I like them better than my Mephistos, which are the only other sandals I can wear w/out my orthotics for any length of time. Everyone seems to love them from my 13 yr. old daughter (who already borrowed them) to my mom (who noticed them instantly). These are keepers!

Great Shoe - These are super sandals! I have a narrow foot so I wasn't sure they would fit, but they did and I love them. They look as good as they feel, and I will continue to buy this brand. I purchased the brown and love the way they look, especially the way the "jewels" dress it up.

Naot gunmetal flat - Gunmetal sandal is exactly as represented in the picture and on foot. Comfortable, cool-looking sandal that has a little bit of gladiator appeal. Naot does cork footbed right: more esthetic shape, a little higher platform, no "duckfoot" look as w/other brands. Whoever came up with rhinestone look should be rewarded for creativity! Naot shoes have better durability than comparables; one pr lasted 4 yrs. Thought I would return-not.

My summer wardrobe shoe - This adorable sandal runs on the short side. I would definitely order a size up… wonderful arch support, an absolutely wonderful look for the summer. I got them in 4 different colors. Comfortable to walk in... I saw them in a catalog and went straight to Zappos to see if the had them and wah-la! Good luck.

Comfort with some flair! The footbed on this sandal is amazing! The leather is soft. Hopefully the elastic around the top of foot will loosen a bit as that was my only "concern". The look is classy comfort. I may order this one in more colors!

I now have 4 of theses shoes!!! If you are looking for wonderful looking, wonderful feeling summer sandals, these are it! Naots have wonderful arch support and are soft on the feet. I just got the patent leather in both the cherry red and black and they are beautiful. The red is a deep cherry red that is going to work so well with everything this summer and the black will be the "dress up" shoe. I actually wear a 39 in European sandals, but the 40 fits perfect. The shipping is amazing and the customer service is perfect!

VERY CUTE SANDAL BUT COULD BE MORE COMFORTABLE - I bought the Naot Ashley in Metal leather in size 41 as I most of the time either wear a 9.5 in medium width sandals (Naot only has medium width sandals) or a size 9 in wide width sandals. I've bought Naot before and although this shoe is VERY cute and I love the Metal leather, the footbed isn't as comfortable as it could be. I wish Naot would make WIDE width sandals, too. This medium width is okay on my foot but, just on my left foot, the strap across the instep rubs a bit on big bone below my big toe (I don't have a bunion). It's not too bad, and I hope the leather will stretch a bit as I wear them because I really love the look of these shoes. They are so cute and different. The footbed could be a little more padded for comfort but its okay as it's shaped to your foot. They are a super company! Their prices are getting a bit high lately though... it seems as if they used to be more reasonably priced.

COMFORT THAT'S ACTUALLY ATTRACTIVE! What a delight to find a sandal that not only comfortable, but actually attractive! The height of the wedge is just right - not too high. I find a slight wedge more comfortable than a totally flat shoe. I highly recommend this sandal.

Foot cloud - I'm on my 6th pair of Ashley’s and planning to buy more - if I could just find my size again. They sell out fast! The light weight and excellent arch supports allow my feet to "melt" into the footbed. I can walk and stand for hours without pain or fatigue. When friends compliment me on my shoes I offer to have them try them on. The response is ALWAYS the same. Their jaws drop, their eyes pop and they gasp, "O my goodness...these are soo comfortable! I want a pair!" The rhinestones make them just a tad above casual. I wear them EVERYWHERE. I never considered paying this much for a pair of shoes, but these are definitely worth the price.

Like Strapping a Feather Pillow to Your Foot! It's hard to find a comfort shoe with style, but these fit the bill. I bought a pair last spring and wore them almost every day this summer; just bought another color. With the rhinestones and black patent they're dressy enough to wear with skirts or capris; they're wonderful with jeans too. The metal leather is also a wonderful neutral that goes with anything. These are so worth the price!

My sandals melted! I wrote in before about these sandals and they were the best thing I had found...but since then, the soles have melted off and I had to return them. Now I am afraid to buy Naot’s again! Has this happened to anyone else? Any other suggestions for alternative sandals? I'm back to ugly sneakers and ugly outfits to match!

Like Walking on Marshmallows - I have tried several brands of comfort shoes. The NAOT brand is by far the MOST comfortable. Wearing them is like walking on marshmallows. Couldn't be more pleased - I had broken my foot and am required to wear flat sandals for a few more months. It was hard to find sandals that had support and looked smart. I am use to high heal sandals and current styles. These have been wonderful. They support my foot and look stylish with pants and skirts. Super Comfort! These are the most comfortable shoes ever! I could walk for miles in them from the start with basically no break-in period. It's hard to tell in the picture, but the band with the rhinestones has elastic between the leather segments, so it gives a little with every step and is super-comfy. Naot is my new favorite brand!

Naot Ashley - After exchanging Ashley for a full size larger, it fits much better, although it could be a hair wider and longer. I have a rather high instep, so the upper leather band can get a bit tight at times. All in all it is a wonderful casual sandal to wear for shopping, etc.

Noat so bad - Well, I have bunions and a few other "issues" with my feet. I most of the time wear sneakers - which aren’t even THAT comfortable and limit my wardrobe choices severely. A couple friends highly recommended Naot’s as very comfortable to walk in. After receiving them in the mail...I was afraid to walk outside with them and commit! They felt uncomfortable. Then I realized I wasn’t pulling them all the way on to my foot (I guess I can’t just step into them). When I finally took the tag off and wore them outside...well, the first day they hurt pretty badly and I was very upset. I had to go back to sneakers. After a day or two of sneakers, I put the NAOT’S back on...and walked slower. Now they seem perfect and they are not too ugly like my sneakers. I still don’t think I am able to walk at my usual brisk pace for hours on end with these sandals and they are not quite my style...but they do feel much more comfortable now and I am able to wear more fashionable outfits! So...I like them. I don’t LOVE them...but I like them and might even purchase NAOT’S again someday. Please keep in mind; I am the fussiest shoe-wearer and buyer I know!

Gorgeous and Comfy - one year shoe only... For the most part, I agree with all the glowing reviews of these sandals. However, I have worn them off and on all spring/summer and one of the rhinestones fell out and the elastic is just about shot. They do not stay on as well as before and the comfort level is decreased as now my foot is slipping. I had hoped to wear these sandals more than one summer, but it looks like they may be done at the end of this season!

GREAT SHOE! I bought these for a recent trip to Rome. We walked all day and I kept wearing these sandals because they were by far the most comfortable sandals I had. No break in period. The elastic strap kept the shoe on my foot and the shoe did not rub or pinch at all. I did have to go one size down for the strap to fit snugly. The suede lining prevented the sandals from feeling sweaty in the extreme heat and the cork footbed provided generous cushioning. I bought the metal color and although other reviewers complained about the black "over glaze" wearing off, I liked the way they looked more over time. Not the prettiest shoe in the world, but in general more stylish than most sandals of this ilk. Buy them!!!

Best shoe ever! I live in the city of Chicago and routinely walk 3 to 4 miles a day in this shoe. These are hard miles on concrete sidewalks. It is the most comfortable sandal I have ever owned (and I've owned plenty). Started with a copper colored pair. Then, bought a black pair, too. The description is not just marketing jargon. The sole does have plenty of support and shapes to your foot for maximum comfort. Buy these shoes without reservation!

Disappointed in distressed finish - This shoe is comfortable, stylish, true to size and I picked the color that looks like black over gold/silver undertone because of the "distressed" finish. However, the more they are worn, packed, handled, the more black rubs off, and soon they will be "gold shoes." Any suggestions about how to add back black, and how to make it last? I tried black wax polish - but when buffed to rid of pasty waxy feel, they are gold once more.

The size 35 is definitely not a size 4 and so, I was disappointed. I would have kept this shoe in a heartbeat because the style is cute and the rhinestones are a nice touch to dress up the sandal.

Great Shoe! This is my second pair of Naots and probably won't be my last. I took them on a recent trip to Italy and they ended up being the most comfortable shoe I wore! Are you kidding me?! These run very small! I can't believe all the positive remarks on "true to size" for these sandals. I have worn a 7 or a 7-1/2 medium/normal width for 20 years and I bought an 8 in these and they are small, length and width. What?! Buy your regular size at your own risk.

Own brown & black and had problem with metal leather - The most comfortable sandals. I own a pair in both brown & black leather. Amazing comfort, delicate enough for casual work - Because of orthopedic problems, I need to wear orthotics in my sandals or wear Birkenstock-style cork bed shoes that don't look horrible. But these sandals are wonderful! They have the same support as a Birkenstock or Mephisto but look a lot more delicate on the foot, and have some height to them so they can be worn with casual skirts or capris. I wish I could afford a million pairs of Naot.

Dressy and comfortable! This is a wonderful shoe to dress up your summer wardrobe. I bought Ashley in both gold and copper colors and love them both. The copper is my favorite because the color is more subtle and I like the black soles with the black elastic in the strap. Great comfort and support. I wish they would make this shoe with a back strap so I would it would look a little more businesslike for work. This style seems to run narrower than a lot of the Naot sandals. It does run a little short, so I ordered my second pair one size larger.

Finally! A comfortable AND wonderful-looking sandal - I love this sandal so much that I bought two in different colors. I'm going to Italy for 2 weeks and wanted something 'smart' looking to wear with capris and skirts--but something that my poor feet could stand--and this is it! The top straps are supple leather so you never feel anything cut into your foot (a rare find) and the soles are so unbelievably comfortable. I have MANY foot problems yet me feet think like they're in bedroom slippers when I'm wearing these. Highly recommended! I did get a 10, though, and I most of the time wear a 9.

No, they are not Birkenstocks! So many people ask me if these are Birks. They are so much better. The negative heel thing does not work for plantar fasciitis or Achilles tendonitis. The Heel height on these is just right for all day wear. That footprint in the sand stuff is a pretty close description. I wear some serious orthotics. So shoes are a problem for me. These have the right amount of support for my flat narrow feet. The elastic across the top keeps my feet from sliding through as the most of the time do w/ banded slides. Yet the elastic is camouflaged by the leather squares. As far as looks-they are adorable. The gold is subtle, the rhinestones are subtle. I would consider them a neutral. They look wonderful on bare legs (not tanned yet) and will probably be gorgeous w/ a tan. I like them better than my Mephistos, which are the only other sandals I can wear w/out my orthotics for any length of time. Everyone seems to love them from my 13 yr. old daughter (who already borrowed them) to my mom (who noticed them instantly). These are keepers!

Naot gunmetal flat - Gunmetal sandal is exactly as represented in the picture and on foot. Comfortable, cool-looking sandal that has a little bit of gladiator appeal. Naot does cork footbed right: more esthetic shape, a little higher platform, no "duckfoot" look as w/other brands. Whoever came up with rhinestone look should be rewarded for creativity! I now have 4 of theses shoes!!! If you are looking for wonderful looking, wonderful feeling summer sandals, these are it! Naots have wonderful arch support and are soft on the feet. I just got the patent leather in both the cherry red and black and they are beautiful. The red is a deep cherry red that is going to work so well with everything this summer and the black will be the "dress up" shoe. I actually wear a 39 in European sandals, but the 40 fits perfect. VERY CUTE SANDAL BUT COULD BE MORE COMFORTABLE - I bought the Naot Ashley in Metal leather in size 41 as I most of the time either wear a 9.5 in medium width sandals (Naot only has medium width sandals) or a size 9 in wide width sandals. I've bought Naot before and although this shoe is VERY cute and I love the Metal leather, the footbed isn't as comfortable as it could be. I wish Naot would make WIDE width sandals, too. This medium width is okay on my foot but, just on my left foot, the strap across the instep rubs a bit on big bone below my big toe (I don't have a bunion). It's not too bad, and I hope the leather will stretch a bit as I wear them because I really love the look of these shoes. They are so cute and different. The footbed could be a little more padded for comfort but its okay as it's shaped to your foot. They are a super company! Their prices are getting a bit high lately though... it seems as if they used to be more reasonably priced.

Foot cloud - I'm on my 6th pair of Ashley’s and planning to buy more - if I could just find my size again. They sell out fast! The light weight and excellent arch supports allow my feet to "melt" into the footbed. I can walk and stand for hours without pain or fatigue. When friends compliment me on my shoes I offer to have them try them on. The response is ALWAYS the same. Their jaws drop, their eyes pop and they gasp, "O my goodness...these are soo comfortable! I want a pair!" The rhinestones make them just a tad above casual. I wear them EVERYWHERE. I never considered paying this much for a pair of shoes, but these are definitely worth the price.

Like Strapping a Feather Pillow to Your Foot! It's hard to find a comfort shoe with style, but these fit the bill. My sandals melted! I wrote in before about these sandals and they were the best thing I had found...but since then, the soles have melted off and I had to return them. Couldn't be more pleased - I had broken my foot and am required to wear flat sandals for a few more months. It was hard to find sandals that had support and looked smart. Super Comfort! These are the most comfortable shoes ever! I could walk for miles in them from the start with basically no break-in period. Noat so bad - Well, I have bunions and a few other "issues" with my feet. I most of the time wear sneakers - which aren’t even THAT comfortable and limit my wardrobe choices severely. A couple friends highly recommended Naot’s as very comfortable to walk in. After receiving them in the mail...I was afraid to walk outside with them and commit! They felt uncomfortable. Then I realized I wasn’t pulling them all the way on to my foot (I guess I can’t just step into them). When I finally took the tag off and wore them outside...well, the first day they hurt pretty badly and I was very upset. I had to go back to sneakers. After a day or two of sneakers, I put the NAOT’S back on...and walked slower. Now they seem perfect and they are not too ugly like my sneakers. I still don’t think I am able to walk at my usual brisk pace for hours on end with these sandals and they are not quite my style...but they do feel much more comfortable now and I am able to wear more fashionable outfits! So...I like them. I don’t LOVE them...but I like them and might even purchase NAOT’S again someday. Please keep in mind; I am the fussiest shoe-wearer and buyer I know!

Gorgeous and Comfy - one year shoe only... For the most part, I agree with all the glowing reviews of these sandals. However, I have worn them off and on all spring/summer and one of the rhinestones fell out and the elastic is just about shot. They do not stay on as well as before and the comfort level is decreased as now my foot is slipping. I had hoped to wear these sandals more than one summer, but it looks like they may be done at the end of this season!

GREAT SHOE! I bought these for a recent trip to Rome. We walked all day and I kept wearing these sandals because they were by far the most comfortable sandals I had. No break in period. The elastic strap kept the shoe on my foot and the shoe did not rub or pinch at all. I did have to go one size down for the strap to fit snugly. The suede lining prevented the sandals from feeling sweaty in the extreme heat and the cork footbed provided generous cushioning. I bought the metal color and although other reviewers complained about the black "over glaze" wearing off, I liked the way they looked more over time. Not the prettiest shoe in the world, but in general more stylish than most sandals of this ilk. Buy them!!!

Best shoe ever! I live in the city of Chicago and routinely walk 3 to 4 miles a day in this shoe. These are hard miles on concrete sidewalks. It is the most comfortable sandal I have ever owned (and I've owned plenty). Started with a copper colored pair. Then, bought a black pair, too. The description is not just marketing jargon. The sole does have plenty of support and shapes to your foot for maximum comfort. Buy these shoes without reservation!

Absolutely the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn! Even with problematic feet, I was able to walk MILES of cobblestone streets in Portugal without a bit of discomfort. They look wonderful with capris as well as skirts. Love the black, so I just bought the metal.

Love this shoe - This shoe combines the again fashionable look of the cork soled shoe with a cute modern feminine touch. The sparkles make the whole look. Great sandal - I was in St. Thomas this summer. While shopping at a local boutique the owner of the shop had a pair of these on. I remarked what a wonderful looking sandal she was wearing. It was her testimony to the comfort of these shoes plus the obvious wonderful style, I decided to order them. Very, very comfortable. Can walk in them all day. Great arch. Disappointed in distressed finish - This shoe is comfortable, stylish, true to size and I picked the color that looks like black over gold/silver undertone because of the "distressed" finish. However, the more they are worn, packed, handled, the more black rubs off, and soon they will be "gold shoes." Any suggestions about how to add back black, and how to make it last? I tried black wax polish - but when buffed to rid of pasty waxy feel, they are gold once more.

The size 35 is definitely not a size 4 and so, I was disappointed. I would have kept this shoe in a heartbeat because the style is cute and the rhinestones are a nice touch to dress up the sandal.

Great Shoe! This is my second pair of Naots and probably won't be my last. I took them on a recent trip to Italy and they ended up being the most comfortable shoe I wore! Are you kidding me?! These run very small! I can't believe all the positive remarks on "true to size" for these sandals. I have worn a 7 or a 7-1/2 medium/normal width for 20 years and I bought an 8 in these and they are small, length and width. What?! Buy your regular size at your own risk.

Own brown & black and had problem with metal leather - The most comfortable sandals. I own a pair in both brown & black leather. Naot Ashley - Love this shoe. It is comfortable and stylish. As with all of my sandals, would be better to be able to get 1/2 sizes as well as a narrow width. When the elastic stretches from wearing, they will probably be too loose.

Amazing comfort, delicate enough for casual work - Because of orthopedic problems, I need to wear orthotics in my sandals or wear Birkenstock-style cork bed shoes that don't look horrible. But these sandals are wonderful! They have the same support as a Birkenstock or Mephisto but look a lot more delicate on the foot, and have some height to them so they can be worn with casual skirts or capris. I wish I could afford a million pairs of Naot.

Dressy and comfortable! This is a wonderful shoe to dress up your summer wardrobe. I bought Ashley in both gold and copper colors and love them both. The copper is my favorite because the color is more subtle and I like the black soles with the black elastic in the strap. Great comfort and support. I wish they would make this shoe with a back strap so I would it would look a little more businesslike for work. This style seems to run narrower than a lot of the Naot sandals. It does run a little short, so I ordered my second pair one size larger.

Finally! A comfortable AND wonderful-looking sandal - I love this sandal so much that I bought two in different colors. I'm going to Italy for 2 weeks and wanted something 'smart' looking to wear with capris and skirts--but something that my poor feet could stand--and this is it! The top straps are supple leather so you never feel anything cut into your foot (a rare find) and the soles are so unbelievably comfortable. I have MANY foot problems yet me feet think like they're in bedroom slippers when I'm wearing these. Highly recommended! I did get a 10, though, and I most of the time wear a 9.

No, they are not Birkenstocks! So many people ask me if these are Birks. They are so much better. The negative heel thing does not work for plantar fasciitis or Achilles tendonitis. The Heel height on these is just right for all day wear. That footprint in the sand stuff is a pretty close description. I wear some serious orthotics. So shoes are a problem for me. These have the right amount of support for my flat narrow feet. The elastic across the top keeps my feet from sliding through as the most of the time do w/ banded slides. Yet the elastic is camouflaged by the leather squares. As far as looks-they are adorable. The gold is subtle, the rhinestones are subtle. I would consider them a neutral. They look wonderful on bare legs (not tanned yet) and will probably be gorgeous w/ a tan. I like them better than my Mephistos, which are the only other sandals I can wear w/out my orthotics for any length of time. Everyone seems to love them from my 13 yr. old daughter (who already borrowed them) to my mom (who noticed them instantly). These are keepers!

Great Shoe - These are super sandals! I have a narrow foot so I wasn't sure they would fit, but they did and I love them. They look as good as they feel, and I will continue to buy this brand. I purchased the brown and love the way they look, especially the way the "jewels" dress it up.

Naot gunmetal flat - Gunmetal sandal is exactly as represented in the picture and on foot. Comfortable, cool-looking sandal that has a little bit of gladiator appeal. Naot does cork footbed right: more esthetic shape, a little higher platform, no "duckfoot" look as w/other brands. Whoever came up with rhinestone look should be rewarded for creativity! Naot shoes have better durability than comparables; one pr lasted 4 yrs. Thought I would return-not.

My summer wardrobe shoe - This adorable sandal runs on the short side. I would definitely order a size up… wonderful arch support, an absolutely wonderful look for the summer. I now have 4 of theses shoes!!! If you are looking for wonderful looking, wonderful feeling summer sandals, these are it! Naots have wonderful arch support and are soft on the feet. I just got the patent leather in both the cherry red and black and they are beautiful. The red is a deep cherry red that is going to work so well with everything this summer and the black will be the "dress up" shoe. I actually wear a 39 in European sandals, but the 40 fits perfect. The shipping is amazing and the customer service is perfect!

VERY CUTE SANDAL BUT COULD BE MORE COMFORTABLE - I bought the Naot Ashley in Metal leather in size 41 as I most of the time either wear a 9.5 in medium width sandals (Naot only has medium width sandals) or a size 9 in wide width sandals. I've bought Naot before and although this shoe is VERY cute and I love the Metal leather, the footbed isn't as comfortable as it could be. I wish Naot would make WIDE width sandals, too. This medium width is okay on my foot but, just on my left foot, the strap across the instep rubs a bit on big bone below my big toe (I don't have a bunion). It's not too bad, and I hope the leather will stretch a bit as I wear them because I really love the look of these shoes. They are so cute and different. The footbed could be a little more padded for comfort but its okay as it's shaped to your foot. They are a super company! Their prices are getting a bit high lately though... it seems as if they used to be more reasonably priced.

Foot cloud - I'm on my 6th pair of Ashley’s and planning to buy more - if I could just find my size again. They sell out fast! The light weight and excellent arch supports allow my feet to "melt" into the footbed. I can walk and stand for hours without pain or fatigue. When friends compliment me on my shoes I offer to have them try them on. The response is ALWAYS the same. Their jaws drop, their eyes pop and they gasp, "O my goodness...these are soo comfortable! Like Strapping a Feather Pillow to Your Foot! It's hard to find a comfort shoe with style, but these fit the bill. I bought a pair last spring and wore them almost every day this summer; just bought another color. With the rhinestones and black patent they're dressy enough to wear with skirts or capris; they're wonderful with jeans too. The metal leather is also a wonderful neutral that goes with anything. These are so worth the price!

My sandals melted! I wrote in before about these sandals and they were the best thing I had found...but since then, the soles have melted off and I had to return them. Like Walking on Marshmallows - I have tried several brands of comfort shoes. The NAOT brand is by far the MOST comfortable. Wearing them is like walking on marshmallows. Couldn't be more pleased - I had broken my foot and am required to wear flat sandals for a few more months. It was hard to find sandals that had support and looked smart. Super Comfort! These are the most comfortable shoes ever! I could walk for miles in them from the start with basically no break-in period. It's hard to tell in the picture, but the band with the rhinestones has elastic between the leather segments, so it gives a little with every step and is super-comfy. Naot is my new favorite brand!

Naot Ashley - After exchanging Ashley for a full size larger, it fits much better, although it could be a hair wider and longer. I have a rather high instep, so the upper leather band can get a bit tight at times. All in all it is a wonderful casual sandal to wear for shopping, etc.

Noat so bad - Well, I have bunions and a few other "issues" with my feet. I most of the time wear sneakers - which aren’t even THAT comfortable and limit my wardrobe choices severely. A couple friends highly recommended Naot’s as very comfortable to walk in. After receiving them in the mail...I was afraid to walk outside with them and commit! They felt uncomfortable. Then I realized I wasn’t pulling them all the way on to my foot (I guess I can’t just step into them). When I finally took the tag off and wore them outside...well, the first day they hurt pretty badly and I was very upset. I had to go back to sneakers. After a day or two of sneakers, I put the NAOT’S back on...and walked slower. Now they seem perfect and they are not too ugly like my sneakers. I still don’t think I am able to walk at my usual brisk pace for hours on end with these sandals and they are not quite my style...but they do feel much more comfortable now and I am able to wear more fashionable outfits! So...I like them. I don’t LOVE them...but I like them and might even purchase NAOT’S again someday. Please keep in mind; I am the fussiest shoe-wearer and buyer I know!

Gorgeous and Comfy - one year shoe only... For the most part, I agree with all the glowing reviews of these sandals. However, I have worn them off and on all spring/summer and one of the rhinestones fell out and the elastic is just about shot. They do not stay on as well as before and the comfort level is decreased as now my foot is slipping. I had hoped to wear these sandals more than one summer, but it looks like they may be done at the end of this season!

GREAT SHOE! I bought these for a recent trip to Rome. We walked all day and I kept wearing these sandals because they were by far the most comfortable sandals I had. No break in period. The elastic strap kept the shoe on my foot and the shoe did not rub or pinch at all. I did have to go one size down for the strap to fit snugly. The suede lining prevented the sandals from feeling sweaty in the extreme heat and the cork footbed provided generous cushioning. I bought the metal color and although other reviewers complained about the black "over glaze" wearing off, I liked the way they looked more over time. Not the prettiest shoe in the world, but in general more stylish than most sandals of this ilk. Buy them!!!

Best shoe ever! I live in the city of Chicago and routinely walk 3 to 4 miles a day in this shoe. These are hard miles on concrete sidewalks. It is the most comfortable sandal I have ever owned (and I've owned plenty). Started with a copper colored pair. Then, bought a black pair, too. The description is not just marketing jargon. Disappointed in distressed finish - This shoe is comfortable, stylish, true to size and I picked the color that looks like black over gold/silver undertone because of the "distressed" finish. However, the more they are worn, packed, handled, the more black rubs off, and soon they will be "gold shoes." Any suggestions about how to add back black, and how to make it last? I tried black wax polish - but when buffed to rid of pasty waxy feel, they are gold once more.

Amazing comfort, delicate enough for casual work - Because of orthopedic problems, I need to wear orthotics in my sandals or wear Birkenstock-style cork bed shoes that don't look horrible. But these sandals are wonderful! They have the same support as a Birkenstock or Mephisto but look a lot more delicate on the foot, and have some height to them so they can be worn with casual skirts or capris. I wish I could afford a million pairs of Naot.

Dressy and comfortable! This is a wonderful shoe to dress up your summer wardrobe. I bought Ashley in both gold and copper colors and love them both. The copper is my favorite because the color is more subtle and I like the black soles with the black elastic in the strap. Great comfort and support. I wish they would make this shoe with a back strap so I would it would look a little more businesslike for work. This style seems to run narrower than a lot of the Naot sandals. It does run a little short, so I ordered my second pair one size larger.

Finally! A comfortable AND wonderful-looking sandal - I love this sandal so much that I bought two in different colors. I'm going to Italy for 2 weeks and wanted something 'smart' looking to wear with capris and skirts--but something that my poor feet could stand--and this is it! The top straps are supple leather so you never feel anything cut into your foot (a rare find) and the soles are so unbelievably comfortable. I have MANY foot problems yet me feet think like they're in bedroom slippers when I'm wearing these. Highly recommended! I did get a 10, though, and I most of the time wear a 9.

No, they are not Birkenstocks! So many people ask me if these are Birks. They are so much better. The negative heel thing does not work for plantar fasciitis or Achilles tendonitis. The Heel height on these is just right for all day wear. That footprint in the sand stuff is a pretty close description. I wear some serious orthotics. So shoes are a problem for me. These have the right amount of support for my flat narrow feet. The elastic across the top keeps my feet from sliding through as the most of the time do w/ banded slides. Yet the elastic is camouflaged by the leather squares. As far as looks-they are adorable. The gold is subtle, the rhinestones are subtle. I would consider them a neutral. They look wonderful on bare legs (not tanned yet) and will probably be gorgeous w/ a tan. I like them better than my Mephistos, which are the only other sandals I can wear w/out my orthotics for any length of time. Everyone seems to love them from my 13 yr. old daughter (who already borrowed them) to my mom (who noticed them instantly). These are keepers!

Nice shoe! This is, without a doubt, a very nice, comfortable shoe! My only disappointment is that the "metallic" original color, which had some copper/bronze/brown to it, has rubbed off considerably.

Not the best shoe for low arches... Because the elastic is too loose. My cobbler offered to shorten it, but I didn't think it was worth the risk.

Love the style...nice attractive sandal. I feel that this style sandal is not true to size although they do "just" fit my 7.5 US shoe size. I feel that I am walking out of the sandal when walking any distance. Heel hangs over the sandal when walking.

New brand for me - I can't really use these for walking any distances because my foot does not stay stable in the shoe...kind of keep walking out of it and the heel hangs over a bit even though they fit fine. They look wonderful and I am using them for around the house.

These are Great - These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and are also very nice looking. I could walk all day in them from the very first wearing. I highly recommend them. One of the crystals did fall out, but luckily I found it and was able to re-glue it in.

Disappointed - Had to order two sizes larger to get length. I have other Naot sandals that are wonderful. I like the look but definitely not in the category of the other Naot sandals in comfort. I needed comfortable white shoes is why I pursued the length. Big mistake. Will order other Naots in future, but will be SURE they fit properly. Big disappointment and waste of money!

Very useful shoes - I own the gunmetal Ashley and I'm wearing them right now. They're super comfy. The only complaint I have about these are that the gunmetal finish is kind of wearing off (there's gold underneath which is okay). I've had them all season and I can wear them with anything. It doesn't look bad--most people probably wouldn't even be able to tell, but it bugs me a bit. Otherwise, these are fabulous and extremely useful shoes.

Love them! These shoes rock. They fit my somewhat narrow foot perfectly. I've been battling plantar fasciitis and the way the footbed molds to your foot and supports the arch is fantastic.

A wonderful-looking comfy sandal - I was visiting a friend in NYC who had these and I coveted them. We walked a very long way from 48th and Lexington to Lincoln Center. I had blisters in my little shoes, she did not in her Naot Ashley. After the theater we took her laptop and I ordered a pair. They are both comfortable and wonderful looking. My heel hangs off the back a little but I think as the elastic stretches, this should correct. I saw a woman at the green market yesterday morning wearing them and her heels were hanging off a little too. But, don't let that stop you.

Naots offers you quality, comfort and style. This is the third pair of "Ashley" style Naots I have bought - so I think this says it all. The shoe's foot bed is very comfortable and, importantly, can be replaced as/when necessary. The overall quality of the shoe is excellent, and the on-line description hits the mark. Would I buy more Naots - definitely, they are well worth their price.

Finally, flip-flops for those of us with really narrow feet! Only one of the straps adjusts, but it's enough. It pulls the sides up a bit, which makes them very comfortable and secure. The Chinook is also very cushy. My only slight gripe is that they are contoured, but not matching my feet.

This shoe fit like a glove from day 1 - no blisters, pain or problems. Only complaint is that, because of the elastic in the top strap, it sounds like I am walking around in flip-flops all day. Not the best for a quiet work environment. I love them and I get a lot of compliments on the style.

Fashionable comfort - I recently went on a trip to Philly and walked the city in these. They arrived soft, with a broken in leather feel. An Incredible Sandal - I love this sandal! Not only does it look good, it feels wonderful. I don't like shoes that flop on my feet and these don't. I also like the little bit of height that it has. I have had many compliments on them. I purchased 2 more pair of Naots because of the fit of this shoe. I think that they run true to size (European sizing).

These sandals are cute, stylish and definitely comfortable. They are a cut above your typical comfort shoe. One small draw back is one of mine tends to slip off my foot a bit when walking.

So comfortable, and good looking too. I ordered these sandals in white just days before a summer trip to Greece – lots of walking, cobblestone streets, uneven pavement, climbing on the steps to the Parthenon. I put these sandals on and didn't think ONCE about my feet for 11 days! Except to think that my feet looked cute in these white summery shoes! I highly recommend these sandals. Love My Naots! This is the fourth pair of Naots I've had over the years and they continue to be some of the best sandals I own. Someone else actually picked these out for me - I wouldn't necessarily have chosen this style myself. However, now that I have them I LOVE them. They're the amazing comfort and fit of Naots but with that added style and sparkle that makes them a little extra special. I wear them with shorts but also with a cute skirt or dressier capris and they work equally well with any outfit. I'm so glad someone picked them out for me. A wonderful choice!

Ashley sandals - I have been wearing Naot sandals for years due to back problems. They are so comfortable that I would rather wear them in the evening as opposed to slippers and they do wonders for my back!! I love the fact that this particular pair is dressy (I have them in black leather), not clunky looking and still so good for my feet! They do run narrow, so I definitely needed to order one size larger for my average width foot. I am very happy with my pair!

Zappos for comfort - I like these sandals because I have a wide foot & severe bunions that will eventually need surgery. They are very comfortable for me & do not hurt. Also I like the style because few shoes cover the bunion.

Shoes - I like the style, cushion, and comfort of the shoe. I work retail 10 hour days and am on my feet without sitting for at least 9 of those 10 hours. These sandals allow me to have a softness under my feet and enable my legs to not feel so "tired" by the end of the day. I love them! I LOVE my Naot Ashley shoes! I recently wore them two out of three days walking around NYC and they were remarkable! They're stylish and edgy, yet extremely comfortable without looking orthopedic. I would, however, recommend ordering them one size larger than normal. My foot was hanging off my usual size eight; size nine was perfect! 48 hours elapsed between my initial order and receiving the exchanged size. Thank you!
