My dog ate my Ulla's! This morning my dog ate my Ulla Mephisto sandals. I thought I'd cry. I tried to order another pair and black and they are no longer in stock in my size (9). Needless to say, I am very upset. These sandals were wonderful. They fit my narrow feet without any sliding and the arch support was wonderful. I hope I am able to obtain another pair in the future.

Great Shoe - This is an extremely comfortable shoe that looks wonderful during the day and which I've also worn for informal dinners, etc. I love them. I had initially tried them on at a store. Although the 11 is supposed to be a 41, I needed the 42 so I think it can run a little small.

Comfort Plus - I look for Mephisto because of their comfort - I have high arches and tend to get spurs. This is as good as wearing bedroom slippers; just as soft on my feet. The bone color is a perfect neutral and goes with almost anything.

Stylish and comfortable - These are my first pair of Mephisto's, but won't be my last. Very comfortable from first wearing. They look wonderful with casual and "comfortable dressy" clothes. Wearing them has helped my back pain as well.

Goes Anywhere - This is a wonderful little shoe. Very comfortable and excellent for wide feet. The velcro straps around the ankle tends to be large and loose. This might be a good shoe for someone with swollen ankles. The wide foot base nevertheless gives very good support.

The ultimate comfort shoe! This is the single most expensive pair of sandals I have ever bought and they are worth every penny. :-) I bought them for a European backpacking trip because I knew I’d be doing a LOT of walking. The wonderful thing about them is that they are moderately stylish. The arch support is unbeatable. I have a pair of Ecco sandals that are comfortable for walking also, but they don’t have a nice wedge heel like these do, and they don't have the attractive patent leather like these do. These are versatile enough to wear with anything, during the day. I won't be wearing them to a club or anything on my trip, but they'll be good for just about everything else. I feel like I could walk around the world on these sandals. I'd highly recommend them. PS - I had a previous pair of Mephisto’s, "Cubana" which had hardly any arch support compared to these. These are supremely comfortable. Also, I'd order a size up, I am actually a size 10 and I had to order the 41 (11) and they are just a *teeny* bit big but the very next size down (40) would have been too small.

Review of Mephisto's Ulla - The shoe is really wonderful. I wear orthodics and it's really difficult to find an attractive sandal that can accommodate the orthodics. Because of the removable insole it can accommodate orthodics. This shoe offers comfort and attractive style to someone who wears orthodics. The adjustable straps allowed me to customize the fit on each foot, which was also important.

Ulla - Comfortable shoe that looks good too. The red color is beautiful, not too bright. Great walking sandal. As always, I size up in Mephisto for the best fit. The velcro allows for customization.

This is my third pair of this style, and I really like them -- helps keep my back from aching and makes me feel a bit stylish. This one felt just a bit wider in the toe region on the right foot --strange as that sounds. But on the whole very comfortable. I wish they came in navy -- and couldn't afford a pair when you had them in bone. Wish they weren’t so expensive, but do appreciate Zappos wonderful service.

Black Patten Ulla - I generally really like this style, having now bought 3 pairs--two in the sand or light beige and one in the black pattern. This last order is the same style but for some reason the platform or toe of the shoe fans out more than in my other Ulla and the shoe is not as attractive or as comfortable. It’s still a "keeper" but probably won't reorder the black pattern.

Comfort and quality - Mephisto produces an unsurpassed footbed in their sandals. this shoe is very comfortable and stylish. My shoe width is AA, and with the ankle strap adjustment keeping my foot from sliding forward, I can wear this shoe.

Much Cuter and So Totally Comfy - I have to confess - I did not buy these from our friends at Zappo's, but I love this on line business so much that I want to help out by giving a glowing review of this shoe. Its wonderful. I have heel spurs and these are very comfy. The elastic bit across the front of my foot is wonderful, the velcro straps are perfect for giving me a custom fit, and the soles are dreamy. I can actually feel an air thing at the heel when I walk. The look at the sandals in the photos is misleading. They actually look good (I'm an urban girl from San Francisco) - dare I say, chic? Yeah! They really look good. That square heel thing is very cool - I will look for this in other Mephisto sandals, that's for sure. When I was at the shop I bought them from I was so hesitant about the 2 inch heel. I'm a flats girl. But it turns out that flats can lead to heel spurs for some of us. Who knew? Not me! This shoe takes about 95% of any pressure off my heels. Oh, and the leather - butter soft. I'm an 8 and bought a size 39. If you've got funky feet like I do - I also have delicate metatarcil bones, get these! My feet are on the wider side of B width and they are perfect. I'm telling you they are cool looking, cute, comfy and etc. And worth the price. Lastly, the suede footbed - wonderful against bare feet. BUY THESE !

I enjoyed wearing this shoe. It feels wonderful and provides support and cushion for my foot. I feel that these sandals are too expensive and wish they were not as costly. I would buy more Mephistos if I could afford to wear them.

Very Comfortable - Okay, so this not the greatest looking pair of sandals, but what it lacks in appearance it made up in comfort. The sandals are very very comfortable, I wore them for a whole days without needing time to break in. Would definitely buy sandals from Mephisto again.

I wish I could buy another color immediately! I don't think I have ever worn a more comfortable sandal. I bought these shoes as an alternative to buying expensive custom made orthotics at $450 a pair. I have high arches, a high instep, both of which come with wide feet. The stretchy insert on the top of the sandal really is comfortable on my wide feet. I will definitely buy another pair in a different color for next year.

Pricey but wonderful shoe - My feet have a lot of special needs and these sandals meet them pretty well. The removeable footbed and adjustable strap are wonderful. I wish the lower strap was adjustable since it is wide for my feet. It has an elastic insert so if your feet are wide you will be very comfortable. The tan is a lovely color which Mephisto has apparently discontinued according to the stores I visited.

The Best Shoe - This shoe is perfect. Adjustable straps in back and on top. I have a high instep, and I have no trouble with this shoe. No breaking in required, put it on and go.

Excellent Comfort and Style - Love this shoe! I have a high instep and bunions and this gives me style with glove fit comfort. Bought a second pair in a different color after wearing one week and am considering buying it in a third color!
