Greatest Walking Shoe - I love Zappos....the service is unbelievable! I have the Myrta in every color available. These sandals are so comfortable and so easily adjustable. I teach school and can stand in these sandals all day long. Shopping is also enjoyable in these sandals because my feet never get tired. If you have any orthopedic needs, especially bunions, these would be wonderful for you, since they are so adjustable.

The bomb!!! The most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. wonderful support, wonderful looking. All day, all night comfort. I suffer from refractory RA...have a difficult time standing or walking for any length of time...until now. Incredible...my words pale once you put these sandals on your feet...

So comfortable - I am a retired teacher with foot problems. The velcro straps are wonderful. The removable orthopedic insole for natural arch support is a definite plus. I wear them all summer and the year around indoors even though I live in Chicago's cold winter climate. Order a size larger than you actually wear. Great shoe!

Mephisto's Myrta - These sandals are wonderful. I had trouble with my feet after a fall and these were the only sandals at the time that I could walk comfortably in. I walk a whole lot being a nurse and these sandals are so foot and leg friendly. They are good looking sandals too. Though I got black, my friend purchased red and they are real classy look.

The third is a charm - This was my third pair of Mephisto's. The first pair is still is wonderful shape and that was about 3-4 years ago. I wore those daily during the summer. There is nothing better than a good pair of sandals. I will I now have 3 pairs and will purchase them again. They are the best fitting sandals that I have ever owned and look good. What more could you ask for?

Wonderful. I walked over a mile in them the first day and didn't want to take them off. I have narrow feet and most of the time wear orthotics and need a stiff sole. It's very hard for me to find sandals that fit so I'm very happy to have found these.

Mephisto Myrta Mobiles - This was my 4th pair of Mephisto's. I am a little disappointed in this shoe as it is not as comforable as I expected. All my other Mephisto sandals I would describe as wonderful but not this shoe. I can wear it only 3 or 4 hours comfortably. For all day I go back to the Mephisto Nonny.

The sandals are AT LEAST 1/2 size smaller than marked! The strap around the arch was too small to get the velcro to close. Smaller than any other shoe in my size that I've ever tried on!

Wearing sandals with buckles is mindless once you know which strap hole suits your foot; proper fit with Velcro tabs requires a bit more thought. This shoe was very comfortable upon 1st use. After 3-4 wearings, however, I found that my foot was sliding forward slightly inside the shoe, mashing the underside of my small toe against the inside seam. Never had that problem before and was on the verge of returning the sandals. The solution was to Velcro the ankle tab tighter to keep my foot from sliding forward and to Velcro the toe tabs at a wider angle to create a more generous toe opening. Here's hoping these Mephisto last eight years, like my old pair did.

A treat for my feet - After searching everywhere for a pair of comfortable walking sandals, I bought a pair of these last year for $215.00 in New York City. I'm ordering a second pair today. They're positively the most comfortable sandals that I own. I wear them from snowdrops to snowfalls. In the winter, I keep them in my office & change into them when I get to work. They go with practically everything I own. If I could afford it, I'd get a pair in every color.

I came hunting for these sandals after seeing an exhibitor at the American Academy of Neurology meeting who was wearing them and on her feet for hours at a time. She swore they were most comfy sandals she had ever owned. I agree! Mine got me through daughter's Air Force Academy graduation, lots of walking but wanted to look nice. I love them. I have wide foot and velcro adjustment does the trick.

firm but comfortable - I've had this shoe for two years and I wear them a lot. In cold weather, I like them with wool socks. The sole is firm, not a lot of give, which I need. They still look wonderful. I have the red, its a wonderful color, not to bright, goes with a lot of things.

Mephisto Myrta Color & Size- I have the Mephisto Myrta in Camel. I wear 38. I wish I could get this shoe in Narrow. Also would like in another color beside black. This shoe gives the best support of all Mephisto shoes with a height enough heel. Wish I could get other styles with that much support. This is all I wear because of the support.
