Best Buy of the Summer! This is a g-r-e-a-t shoe! It looks smart, feels comfortable and is a versatile dress/casual shoe. My only regret, or relief, is that it doesn't come in more colors.

Watch out for the back strap! These are wonderful light-weight sandals with lift. But the strap kept fall off my heel, and I tried both a 6 and a 7 to make sure I couldn't get it to fit as I love the idea of an adjustable width. They are not as sleek as one would like either.

Almost perfect but... The top flap that closes with velcro creates an edge that rubbed my foot. It is such a pretty shoe and almost comfy right out of the box. I needed something I could wear without hose. Maybe a larger size would improve this.

I loved the look of this shoe and on the foot it is very attractive and slimming. I like the fact that you can adjust the toe area and the tan color is a perfect neutral. I kept trying it on to convince myself to keep it, but since I planned on wearing it for lots of walking & sightseeing, decided it was not as comfortable as I would like. It has wonderful arch support, but the sole is not very cushy.

Size is tricky for a 9 1/2 - Very smart original styling, this shoe adds sex appeal. My 5th pair of Mephisto's, the first with a heel, I can say with certainty, after trial and error, that size 40 is best for my 9.5 foot. Comfortable and versatile. Looks wonderful with jeans or business casual. This is a terrific shoe year round in California. You can walk for miles in Mephisto's.

Love, love, LOVE this shoe - My feet are guaranteed to hurt regardless of what type of shoe I wear - either from my high arches, my plantar fasciitis, or my heel spurs. I also have wide feet that are difficult to fit. My feet, however, do not hurt AT ALL while wearing these sandals. The arch is nicely supported, I can adjust the toe box, and the heel - despite being 2 1/4 " - is very stable. I have found that I can wear Mephisto sandals if I can adjust the toe width of the shoe - their closed toe sandals are too narrow for me. They're so comfortable, in fact that I haven't changed into my slippers yet tonight. :)

Good Sandal - I ordered this wedge sandal with some skepticism due to the reviews. Sure enough, the edges of the leather around the toes are rough, but they do soften with wearing. I can't wear it for a whole day, but it's comfortable for several hours & some shopping. I'm glad I have it, but wouldn't buy another in a different color.
