I love the Mephisto Carly. I am wearing them to my son's wedding. I have a problem with my arch and they feel very comfortable and stable. I had to go up a size. I wish they came in black. I also love the Mephisto Sydel. Hoping for more pretty Mephisto styles in neutral colors.

Absorbs Shock; Still has Style - I wear a US 10 and a European 41. This shoe is comfortable. At first I thought that it might rub my baby toes, but the straps seemed to adjust as I wore them. The footbed is incredibly cushiony -it does not sink into a hard bottom as some inexpensive cushioning does. This cushioning remains supportive. It absorbs shock like crazy. My only complaint would be that with my high instep, my foot does not contour to the footbed so I hope that my arch will not hurt after a few hours. I bought this shoe in the pewter and wish I could afford another sacrifice purchase to get the gray also.

Wonderful, but expensive - I ordered these shoes, although they were outside my price range, because it's very hard to find a gray sandal and I needed gray for a special outfit. These shoes are wonderful -- they fit beautifully, they feel very comfortable, and they seem to be extremely high quality. However, I'm not sure if I'm going to keep them because of the high price.

WOW! I love these sandals! I have very wide feet and a narrow ankle...so finding comfortable sandals is difficult at best. I ordered this shoe for a cruise this summer and loved it so much I ordered another color for my daughter's fall wedding! Expensive, but worth every penny!

Comfortable and stylish - I was a bit hesitant about spending this much for a sandal, but it is well worth the money. The sandals look wonderful on your feet and they fit perfectly. They are cushioned at the ball of your feet which make them very comfortable. The straps cover the little pinky toe and they adjust in front as well as the back.

Beautiful and comfortable - I can't stop looking at my sandals. The buckles add a touch of elegance and they are adjustable to the width of my foot. My feet sits perfectly in the contoured footbed and the height is just right to give me a little lift and still be comfortable to walk around in all day. The cushioning is just unbelievably soft and it absorbs so much friction that I feel like I’m walking on clouds.

Love this shoe! This shoe is so comfortable and yet has a delicate look - not clunky at all. This color is especially nice - a light gold taupe, without looking "gold!" Great with jeans. I wear a 6 1/2 to 7 actually and the Mephisto size 38 fit me best.

A wonderful shoe if your foot isn't narrow - I purchased this shoe to wear to a wedding. It would have been perfect with my dress. Unfortunately, the sandal was much too wide for my foot, even with the straps adjusted to make the shoe fit as tightly as possible. I know if I could have adjusted the straps properly it would have been a very comfortable shoe. This shoe is not only comfortable, it is very stylish: something I can rarely find with my narrow foot. This shoe is expensive but it would be well worth the money for someone with a wider foot than my AA.

Great shoe - I needed an attractive shoe that allowed me to walk comfortably on uneven (cobblestone) surfaces all day. This fits the bill. I also love the buckles--they are very delicate and dressy!
