Wearing them now as I write - These sandals fit perfectly. I noticed some reviews stated that the sandals were tight. For me they are very comfortable. I always wear 8 medium.

Runs small - I am most of the time an 11 or 11 1/2 so I ordered a 12 (42) in this shoe. It feels like a 10 1/2 to me and is narrow, not only across the band but my 5th toe hangs off. So I would say that if you have even a slightly wide foot you may have a problem with these. I would suggest ordering the very next size up...but they only come up to 12 so I can't.

Beautiful but too narrow - I loved the look of this shoe. It has good arch support too. My problem came with the width. The front of my foot is wider than the heel, and my little toes hang off the sides. So I reluctantly had to send these back. If you have a regular width in your toe area, these sandals would probably work wonderful for you.

Very good sandal - I wear 7 1/2 -8 and 8 in this shoe fits me well. I also have medium to narrow feet, so my good fit in this shoe means Mephisto Babata is relatively narrow (perfect for me though). I gave it a 4 star because they are not perfect, and I expect perfection from Mephisto. For, instance the stitch from flower bothers me a little, and I don't understand why Mephisto did not put the stitch above the lining of the shoe (between the upper part and the lining), so it could not bother people's feet. Also, the glue they used bothers me a little on the side, but hopefully it will go away after a few wearings. However, Mephisto makes the best soles in the world, and these sandals have amazing soles (the shape of the arch support follows my feet perfectly), so you won't be disappointed in this respect. They are also cute with the flower. Overall a very good sandal, with a few defects that disappointed me because I expect perfect sandals for this price from this maker (which BTW is my favorite shoe maker).
