MEPHISTOS ROCK!! OWN 7 PAIRS OF MEPHISTO! Bought my 1st Mephistos in France. Changed my life! Are more comfortable than all the athletic shoes I'd ever owned. Told Mephisto only uses real rubber on the sole. I have owned two Heidi's...one nubuck and one leather. Like the leather better because it keeps it shape, doesn't look dirty. I can have a shoemaker put holes in these straps to fit my foot exactly which works for wide or narrow feet. My foot is medium to narrow with no arch & the support in the arch is great on these shoes and most Mephistos! I have the heel problem (plantar fasciitis) so the lift in the heel keeps that from being a problem. Mephisto Rush is a great pair where one can insert orthodics. I always where a 9 1/2 shoe but I always wear a 10 in Mephistos (40 EU). My foot is usually too narrow for 10's in other shoes. These shoes can be worn everywhere without pain and if you have pain put these shoes on and the pain will go away! Mephistos are the best SHOES and ZAPPOS has the GREATEST SERVICE WITH THE HUGEST SELECTION OF MEPHISTOS!

Mephisto Myrta Color & Size- I have the Mephisto Myrta in Camel. I wear 38. I wish I could get this shoe in Narrow. Also would like in another color beside black. This shoe gives the best support of all Mephisto sandals with a height enough heel. Wish I could get other styles with that much support. This is all I wear because of the support.

Mephisto Naiade - Unfortunately I have to return these as the piece across the toes cuts into the side of my big toe and it hurts. Since I have a troublesome left foot I have to have loose fitting shoes. I will be looking for a replacement on Zappos because their customer service is wonderful.

My favorite shoes! I love these shoes. They are soo comfortable, and they look good too! And the fit is made even better by the adjustable buckles at both the toes and the ankle - it's like having a shoe custom made just for you. Plus they have a suede lining, so your foot doesn't slip around like it does on some sandals. It's sort of amazing that I would say this, but these are definitely worth the price!

Fits very well, even on my narrow high-arched feet. Made more for the wide foot, but is easily adjusted. I like the "bling" for the buckles. It gives a rather homely shoe some spunk. Mephisto is hand-made, so I had to order 3 pair just to find two that had the straps fit just right. The bottom sole is absolutely fantastic for rough cobblestones. My feet are well protected! The insole is replaceable via Mephisto.com and the whole sandal is refurbish-able, making it a good long term investment.

Great shoe. Very comfortable. After 5 years of daily use both soles split across the instep. Shoes still usable and in service daily.

Husband Loves these! Whenever I usually ask my husband to try on something I bought for him, if he likes it he says, "This will work". When he tried on these sandals however, His eyes lit up and said, "These are Niiice...." The adjustable straps are great since he has wide feet & high arches. Also, I bought his normal shoe size and they fit fine. Expensive, but worth it!

Rod’s Mephisto Soren - This sandal is very comfortable. I like the way the cork bed helps the sandal flex when I walk bend or any other activity. I wish I had ordered the Soren in black but I really enjoy wearing the sandal. I will continue to buy Mephisto sandals.

Overall comfortable shoe - This shoe strap hits high on my instep. As I break it in it is becoming softer but initially it has been rough. Otherwise it is a very comfortable shoe.

Zappos is a very good store - Very nice sandals, but needed to change to the smaller size and Zappos did it in no time in very professional manner and at no extra charge.

Casual style - The red shoe is more of a pink foral than red. The shoe goes well with pants or dress and I have received compliments when wearing. The fit is comfortable and it is easy to walk in.

Comfort and quality - Mephisto produces an unsurpassed footbed in their shoes. this shoe is very comfortable and stylish. My shoe width is AA, and with the ankle strap adjustment keeping my foot from sliding forward, I can wear this shoe.

This is a beautiful sandal. I just love the style, with the crossover strap, and easy, adjustable velcro straps! Comfortable right out of the box, it is beautifully made and the leather is very soft and fine. I have the black and the bronze, and both colors are amazing, not just your average black or brown. The black has a “pearlized” finish that gives it an almost steely look, and the bronze has a gorgeous metallic-sheen. I have very sensitive, plantar fasciitis feet, so I must have shoes that have a lot of cushioning. I'd say these would be perfect for a normal foot, absolute comfort in walking. For me, they are fine, but I could use even a little more cushioning, say, like a thicker sole. (They do have more cushioning than most sandals already.) They don't have a whole lot of arch support or any real heel support – most sandals don't anyway. But for most people, for a great look and exceptional comfort, these will please! They run true to size, and I got the 39 for my size 9 feet. Mephisto and Zappos are great!

Fabulous! A truly, really wonderful slide... however, do note that the shoe is a good one size smaller than it seems - otherwise fabulous!
