Great looking, but pretty uncomfortable... Loved the look of this shoe in the picture as well as on the foot, but I found it to be pretty unstable. It's not just the heel height; it's the design of the shoe that makes it kind of wobbly, especially when on a hard surface, such as wood, tile or cement. I wouldn't feel secure enough in them to wear them all day. I'd always be worrying about twisting my ankle. It's too bad because the shoe is really well-made and stylish. I would consider keeping them for special occasions where standing the whole time was not required, but they're a little too expensive for the limited wear potential. Sadly, they are going back.

Buckle Issues - These are beautiful shoes but the buckle is not big enough for the strap. The satin will be shredded after just a few wears because the strap has to be forced through. At this price point, that type of quality defect is absurd.

I wore this shoe to a cocktail party. While the shoe looks quite plain in the photo, I have to say it is absolutely *gorgeous* on your foot. It really lengthens and thins your legs quite a bit. I received many, many compliments and I swear it made me look 5lbs lighter. I do have to say I did not find these shoes comfortable at all. In fact, they killed. I put up with it because they made my legs look spectacular and I could not find another pair in time for the party. I also had a bit of problem with the strap around the heel sliding down, but I think it would be easily solved with a bit of that silicone strap tape.

Winner! What a great shoe! Purchased 9.5 M in Gold. The straps are just enough to have that great gladiator look that is in right now, without being overbearing. It has a surprising amount of support provided by the straps. It has built-in cushioning in the heel. None of the straps are too loose or too tight. Note that you can only actually adjust the top two buckles, the rest are functional but the straps are sewn down. I think you could cut the thread holding them in place to make them adjustable, though. The gold color is great, and the buckles are matte-finish, which is a great touch.

My favorite red sandals - I just got my red sandals and they are absolutely beautiful. I have been looking for a pair of flat red sandals and could not find one that was dressy and casual, at the same time I have gotten a lot of compliments on them. Straps are very comfortable. I’m thinking of getting them in black.
