I have feet from hell. They are short and wide along with a high arch/instep. These were heavenly! They are sophisticated and sexy. I always get compliments when I wear them. I have had to stand for hours in these. I was so happy to finally find a good looking and comfortable shoe. Zappos hung in there for me. I did have to buy Petals and place them in the front to keep my feet back because of my narrow heel (forgot to mention that abnormality). I like that they are comfortable. The metallic finish is ok and there is not a hard buckle anywhere on this sandal. On the downside, I truly feel that I have selected comfort over fashion with this shoe. They feel very comfortable and light, nothing like my other shoes of this kind. The silver band is little wider than it seemed in the picture, but it doesn't really matter. I would recommend them, they look great with my white jeans, for work or just casual. I love this brand; it is worth it to spend a little extra on shoes like this. They will probably be fine after a break in period, but I don't usually need to break in this brand. I also found the size labeling to be deceptive. The size 37 says "6 - 6.5", but this is actually much closer to a 7. They are very sassy looking and quite comfy. I wouldn't wear them anyplace I would need to do lots of walking but they are cute with bermudas, sundresses and summer slacks. I've paired them with capris and jeans. The first time out however, I made the mistake of walking about a mile, and the strap dug into my foot and cut right through the skin. (ouch!) However, that didn't stop me from wearing them again a week later as soon as I was healed! Great "city" shoe...just don't do a min-marathon in them! I found this shoe very comfortable from the first step. I didn't wobble and it's just the right height to avoid that twisted ankle fear. The base is soft enough to absorb some shock so you can walk a bit, but I don't recommend a long march. The leather is supple and didn't rub anywhere. In Florida's heat, that's important. Looks like the Prada Deco Sandal that sells for $495... but better! Has neato flexible rubber sole and nice cushion on the footbed. Back strap give a very avant garde look. It's very comfortable, yet stylish. The only problem that might occur is that the upper sole can get damaged easily because it is such soft material. That's the only reason I gave it only four stars.
