Great show - Extremely comfortable everyday shoe. Started wearing them in the 60's and are still a stylish shoe with comfort. I recommend this shoe highly.

Big disappointment - I had the higher heeled Kork-Ease in the '70s and really loved the shoe. These seem a bit flat and have a "flat" appearance all the way around. Not much shoe for the price.

Not so sure… They are comfortable enough sandals. For the reviews and the price - I thought I was buying clouds for my feet. Much cuter in the picture. I was hoping for something not so “grandma-ish” and extremely comfortable. They are cute with jeans - just not wonderful with shorts.

Sooooooo comfortable - I finally found a pair of cute shoes that look good, are comfortable, and have a low wedge heel! I took these with me on vacation and walked all over Savannah in total comfort. Loved 'em in the 70s; glad they're back - Felt like coming home to slip into these. It's true that you need to break them in in terms of softening the leather straps, but once you do, you'll never want to wear any other sandals. They go with any pants, (look wonderful with cropped looks) shorts, and skirts.

Flashback to the 70s - Yes, I got them because I had a pair just like them in the 9th grade. Unfortunately, a nearly identical shoe in another brand for 1/3 the price wasn't available in my size, so I bought these. Not sure they are worth the price, but they are comfortable and made of good solid leather. Only complaint is the buckles. They are cheap and difficult to work. I'm sure they are not going to last as long as the shoe. That's why I'm rating it 3 stars. For this price, you expect high quality in all parts.

Honest and comfortable - This shoe is exactly as described and very comfortable. Looks wonderful with pants and skirts. Buckle is flimsy and difficult to secure, but it is still a good sandal. Shoe felt true to size. Leather is firm, so expect blisters at first on top of foot.

Classic styling and comfort trumps low sex appeal - I ordered this shoe after falling down several times wearing its higher-heeled sister, the Kork-Ease Classic wedge. My chocolate-brown shoes are very easy to wear. A pair of shoes that I slip into almost daily even though I plan to wear a more glamorous pair. The Low-Rider looks best with pants and it is wonderful for the office, walking to work, or going for walks at lunch (if that is your thing). No need to change sandals because these shoes can do the job and still look wonderful with a linen suit. Think of them as loafers for summer. They still could be sexy with the right summer outfit, you know, one that shows some eyelet-fringed cleavage.

Just What I Wanted - I had first seen this shoe with a higher wedge but too high for me. I then ran across the low-rider in Zappos, ordered it and found it PERFECT. Just as I remember - I had a pair in the 70's and loved them. Wasn't sure if I should splurge on the cost, but I did. They weren't very comfortable the first few times I wore them, but the leather must have stretched and they feel perfect now. The chocolate goes with everything and I am very pleased. I LOVE this shoe! While all other popular on-line retailers are selling these amazing, comfortable, well made, cute sandals - Zappos was the only place I was able to find the low-rider...and in size 11. I'm 6ft tall and while I love and own many of this years 4+ inch wedges and platforms... these are a perfect alternative. They are cute with dresses or jeans and feel amazing. Just like the 70s - This was my shoe of choice in the 70s....well the higher version anyway (and they were much less costly back then). The footbed is no longer suede but leather, but just as comfortable. I bought them for nostalgic reasons. Like them very much.

Classic - The low rider is a wonderful summer sandal. They take about two good wearings to break in but after that they are like a second skin. The straps are made of high quality soft leather. I purchased the dark brown color and in 9 and absolutely love them. I am most of the time a true 8.5 but I am happy with the 9...they fit just right.

Still the best - Love these shoes! I ordered the 8 and 9 because I am most of the time an 8.5. The 8 fit so perfectly! The light tan color is beautiful. The shoes are comfortable. But I wouldn't think that they are a long distance walking shoe the way I used to think of them in the 70's. That might be more due to the changes in my feet over the last 35 years, (yikes!)and not the sandal.

Awesome shoes - I bought a pair in chocolate - they are much better looking "in person" than on the website. I was afraid they would be two-toned, but they are an even dark chocolate brown in real life. They are very well-constructed, the leather is thick and smooth, the sole has lots of traction. These are as comfortable and wearable as my Birks and Earth shoes, but way better looking! I love the height of these wedges. You won't regret spending your money on these shoes once you've seen and tried on the imitations!

Satisfied review - I ordered the Kork-Ease Classic Low Rider on a Saturday and received them on Monday, much to my pleasant surprise. They fit perfectly and look wonderful. I am an in-between size and was, again, pleased to find the fit just right. I had had a pair in the early 1970s that I literally wore out. I don't recall what I originally paid, but do feel that they are now bit pricey and will probably not indulge in another pair for that reason. But overall I'm happy with the purchase and the service.

Looks wonderful, not that comfortable - I wear a 7 or 7.5, but the reviews said order up and the 7.5 was out of stock so I ordered an 8 which is a perfect fit! I could not have worn my normal size in this shoe. However, if you need arch support this is not the shoe for you. It looks wonderful, but cannot wear it for long periods. It also does not have good forefoot padding.

Why are these sandals so expensive? I guess because of their almost kitschy novelty... they do look awesome. I’m a size 6.5 and I ordered a 6. They fit pretty well although the leather is a little tight around the toes but I think it will stretch out. I’m also not very convinced of their quality... hopefully they'll last me a couple seasons. They are very versatile- they pair well with just about any outfit. Can’t wait for spring to wear them a lot!

Kork Ease Low-Rider - I ordered two pairs in chocolate, one larger and one smaller, because I wear an 8.5. The size 9 fit perfectly but the straps were a caramel color, the suede wrapped heel was more of a chocolate brown color and the sole was blonde colored! Although too small, the size 8 was the perfect chocolate color from top to bottom, that I was looking for and was also the better constructed sandal. Pretty random for sandals that cost over $150!

Love the shoe but. . . I bought them in brown and black. The brown fit perfectly but the black pair were very narrow. I mailed them back and ordered another pair. They arrived and were too narrow too. I'm not sure why the inconsistency but am glad Zappos doesn't charge for shipping. I love them so much that I decided to keep them anyway and am having them stretched a bit. My brown pair is SO comfortable that I have a hard time taking wearing anything else!

Time Travelers - These shoes take me back to my high school days in the early 70's when I had a pair almost identical to these. The leather across the toe box is thick and quality, but the leather for the strap is thin and looks like it could show some wear and tear in time. There's almost no cushioning in the footbed and for the price they're not the quality I would expect for my money.

Still the prettiest natural look but ouch! The price... I fell for the nostalgia - I lived in these in the 70's & even into the 80's! The tops feel "like buttah" and I love the distinctive pale pinkish tan color. The footbed seems harder than I remember it, but still it's comfortable and doesn't discolor as some shoes do. But darn that price; not all boomers have wonderful disposable income - still, I just had to have these cuties. I hope the price comes down so that I can have a dark brown pair, too...

Comfort and style! The revival of this shoe is a boon to women who are searching the world over for a comfortable shoe with pizzazz. These take me back to 1974 - I love these sandals, height without the precarious tottering on heels, due to the platform. However there is hardware holding down the back straps on the heel surface. After a few hours it bothers my feet.

I loved these in 1973 and I love them now - I don't know how many pair of these I had in the 70's but I wore them through college. I recently ordered a pair in the natural color they look and fit as I remember. I wear a 9.5 or a 10 and I'm very glad that I ordered the 10. It just fits. The price is high though for what they are.

Big disappointment - I had the higher heeled Kork-Ease in the '70s and really loved the shoe. These seem a bit flat and have a "flat" appearance all the way around. Not much shoe for the price.

Not so sure… They are comfortable enough sandals. For the reviews and the price - I thought I was buying clouds for my feet. Much cuter in the picture. I was hoping for something not so “grandma-ish” and extremely comfortable. They are cute with jeans - just not wonderful with shorts.

Loved 'em in the 70s; glad they're back - Felt like coming home to slip into these. It's true that you need to break them in in terms of softening the leather straps, but once you do, you'll never want to wear any other sandals. They go with any pants, (look wonderful with cropped looks) shorts, and skirts.

Flashback to the 70s - Yes, I got them because I had a pair just like them in the 9th grade. Unfortunately, a nearly identical shoe in another brand for 1/3 the price wasn't available in my size, so I bought these. Not sure they are worth the price, but they are comfortable and made of good solid leather. Only complaint is the buckles. They are cheap and difficult to work. I'm sure they are not going to last as long as the shoe. That's why I'm rating it 3 stars. For this price, you expect high quality in all parts.

Honest and comfortable - This shoe is exactly as described and very comfortable. Looks wonderful with pants and skirts. Buckle is flimsy and difficult to secure, but it is still a good sandal. Shoe felt true to size. Leather is firm, so expect blisters at first on top of foot.

Classic styling and comfort trumps low sex appeal - I ordered this shoe after falling down several times wearing its higher-heeled sister, the Kork-Ease Classic wedge. My chocolate-brown shoes are very easy to wear. A pair of shoes that I slip into almost daily even though I plan to wear a more glamorous pair. The Low-Rider looks best with pants and it is wonderful for the office, walking to work, or going for walks at lunch (if that is your thing). No need to change sandals because these shoes can do the job and still look wonderful with a linen suit. Think of them as loafers for summer. They still could be sexy with the right summer outfit, you know, one that shows some eyelet-fringed cleavage.

Just as I remember - I had a pair in the 70's and loved them. Wasn't sure if I should splurge on the cost, but I did. They weren't very comfortable the first few times I wore them, but the leather must have stretched and they feel perfect now. The chocolate goes with everything and I am very pleased. I LOVE this shoe! While all other popular on-line retailers are selling these amazing, comfortable, well made, cute sandals - Zappos was the only place I was able to find the low-rider...and in size 11. Just like the 70s - This was my shoe of choice in the 70s....well the higher version anyway (and they were much less costly back then). The footbed is no longer suede but leather, but just as comfortable. I bought them for nostalgic reasons. Like them very much.

Classic - The low rider is a wonderful summer sandal. They take about two good wearings to break in but after that they are like a second skin. The straps are made of high quality soft leather. I purchased the dark brown color and in 9 and absolutely love them. I am most of the time a true 8.5 but I am happy with the 9...they fit just right.

Still the best - Love these shoes! I ordered the 8 and 9 because I am most of the time an 8.5. The 8 fit so perfectly! The light tan color is beautiful. The shoes are comfortable. But I wouldn't think that they are a long distance walking shoe the way I used to think of them in the 70's. That might be more due to the changes in my feet over the last 35 years, (yikes!)and not the sandal.

Awesome shoes - I bought a pair in chocolate - they are much better looking "in person" than on the website. I was afraid they would be two-toned, but they are an even dark chocolate brown in real life. They are very well-constructed, the leather is thick and smooth, the sole has lots of traction. These are as comfortable and wearable as my Birks and Earth shoes, but way better looking! I love the height of these wedges. You won't regret spending your money on these shoes once you've seen and tried on the imitations!

Satisfied review - I ordered the Kork-Ease Classic Low Rider on a Saturday and received them on Monday, much to my pleasant surprise. They fit perfectly and look wonderful. I am an in-between size and was, again, pleased to find the fit just right. I had had a pair in the early 1970s that I literally wore out. I don't recall what I originally paid, but do feel that they are now bit pricey and will probably not indulge in another pair for that reason. But overall I'm happy with the purchase and the service.

Looks wonderful, not that comfortable - I wear a 7 or 7.5, but the reviews said order up and the 7.5 was out of stock so I ordered an 8 which is a perfect fit! I could not have worn my normal size in this shoe. However, if you need arch support this is not the shoe for you. It looks wonderful, but cannot wear it for long periods. It also does not have good forefoot padding.

Why are these sandals so expensive? I guess because of their almost kitschy novelty... they do look awesome. I’m a size 6.5 and I ordered a 6. They fit pretty well although the leather is a little tight around the toes but I think it will stretch out. I’m also not very convinced of their quality... hopefully they'll last me a couple seasons. They are very versatile- they pair well with just about any outfit. Can’t wait for spring to wear them a lot!

Kork Ease Low-Rider - I ordered two pairs in chocolate, one larger and one smaller, because I wear an 8.5. The size 9 fit perfectly but the straps were a caramel color, the suede wrapped heel was more of a chocolate brown color and the sole was blonde colored! Although too small, the size 8 was the perfect chocolate color from top to bottom, that I was looking for and was also the better constructed sandal. Pretty random for sandals that cost over $150!

Love the shoe but. . . I bought them in brown and black. The brown fit perfectly but the black pair were very narrow. I mailed them back and ordered another pair. They arrived and were too narrow too. I'm not sure why the inconsistency but am glad Zappos doesn't charge for shipping. I love them so much that I decided to keep them anyway and am having them stretched a bit. My brown pair is SO comfortable that I have a hard time taking wearing anything else!

Time Travelers - These shoes take me back to my high school days in the early 70's when I had a pair almost identical to these. The leather across the toe box is thick and quality, but the leather for the strap is thin and looks like it could show some wear and tear in time. There's almost no cushioning in the footbed and for the price they're not the quality I would expect for my money.

Still the prettiest natural look but ouch! The price... I fell for the nostalgia - I lived in these in the 70's & even into the 80's! The tops feel "like buttah" and I love the distinctive pale pinkish tan color. The footbed seems harder than I remember it, but still it's comfortable and doesn't discolor as some shoes do. But darn that price; not all boomers have wonderful disposable income - still, I just had to have these cuties. I hope the price comes down so that I can have a dark brown pair, too...

Comfort and style! The revival of this shoe is a boon to women who are searching the world over for a comfortable shoe with pizzazz. These take me back to 1974 - I love these sandals, height without the precarious tottering on heels, due to the platform. However there is hardware holding down the back straps on the heel surface. After a few hours it bothers my feet.

I loved these in 1973 and I love them now - I don't know how many pair of these I had in the 70's but I wore them through college. I recently ordered a pair in the natural color they look and fit as I remember. I wear a 9.5 or a 10 and I'm very glad that I ordered the 10. It just fits. Not so sure… They are comfortable enough sandals. For the reviews and the price - I thought I was buying clouds for my feet. Much cuter in the picture. I was hoping for something not so “grandma-ish” and extremely comfortable. They are cute with jeans - just not wonderful with shorts.

Sooooooo comfortable - I finally found a pair of cute shoes that look good, are comfortable, and have a low wedge heel! I took these with me on vacation and walked all over Savannah in total comfort. They look wonderful with pants, skirts, shorts - and are perfect for work. These are terrific all-round sandals.

Loved 'em in the 70s; glad they're back - Felt like coming home to slip into these. It's true that you need to break them in in terms of softening the leather straps, but once you do, you'll never want to wear any other sandals. They go with any pants, (look wonderful with cropped looks) shorts, and skirts.

Flashback to the 70s - Yes, I got them because I had a pair just like them in the 9th grade. Unfortunately, a nearly identical shoe in another brand for 1/3 the price wasn't available in my size, so I bought these. Not sure they are worth the price, but they are comfortable and made of good solid leather. Only complaint is the buckles. They are cheap and difficult to work. I'm sure they are not going to last as long as the shoe. That's why I'm rating it 3 stars. For this price, you expect high quality in all parts.

Classic Low-Rider - Love this shoe, but is it really worth $160.00??? Bought it anyway and I have to say I love it. Honest and comfortable - This shoe is exactly as described and very comfortable. Looks wonderful with pants and skirts. Buckle is flimsy and difficult to secure, but it is still a good sandal. Shoe felt true to size. Leather is firm, so expect blisters at first on top of foot.

Low Rider Kork-Ease a wonderful Alternative - A wonderful alternative to the higher wedge. The shoe is still cute but won't kill my back like the higher ones I wore when I was young.

Classic styling and comfort trumps low sex appeal - I ordered this shoe after falling down several times wearing its higher-heeled sister, the Kork-Ease Classic wedge. My chocolate-brown shoes are very easy to wear. A pair of shoes that I slip into almost daily even though I plan to wear a more glamorous pair. The Low-Rider looks best with pants and it is wonderful for the office, walking to work, or going for walks at lunch (if that is your thing). No need to change sandals because these shoes can do the job and still look wonderful with a linen suit. Think of them as loafers for summer. They still could be sexy with the right summer outfit, you know, one that shows some eyelet-fringed cleavage.

Just What I Wanted - I had first seen this shoe with a higher wedge but too high for me. I then ran across the low-rider in Zappos, ordered it and found it PERFECT. I have worn it every day since its arrival and couldn't be happier with both looks and comfort. (I most of the time wear a 6 1/2 and the 6 was perfect.)

Just as I remember - I had a pair in the 70's and loved them. Wasn't sure if I should splurge on the cost, but I did. They weren't very comfortable the first few times I wore them, but the leather must have stretched and they feel perfect now. The chocolate goes with everything and I am very pleased. If there were more color selections in the low rider style, I would buy another pair. Thank you for wonderful service and a lovely product!

I LOVE this shoe! While all other popular on-line retailers are selling these amazing, comfortable, well made, cute sandals - Zappos was the only place I was able to find the low-rider...and in size 11. I'm 6ft tall and while I love and own many of this years 4+ inch wedges and platforms... these are a perfect alternative. They are cute with dresses or jeans and feel amazing. Now I think I'll buy the 3 inch in another color... Thank you.

Just like the 70s - This was my shoe of choice in the 70s....well the higher version anyway (and they were much less costly back then). The footbed is no longer suede but leather, but just as comfortable. I bought them for nostalgic reasons. Like them very much.

Classic - The low rider is a wonderful summer sandal. They take about two good wearings to break in but after that they are like a second skin. The straps are made of high quality soft leather. I purchased the dark brown color and in 9 and absolutely love them. I am most of the time a true 8.5 but I am happy with the 9...they fit just right.

Great for every day - Leather a little stiff (blisters at first) and sole not as flexible as I might have liked, but still overall very comfortable if a little clunky.

Still the best - Love these shoes! I ordered the 8 and 9 because I am most of the time an 8.5. The 8 fit so perfectly! The light tan color is beautiful. The shoes are comfortable. But I wouldn't think that they are a long distance walking shoe the way I used to think of them in the 70's. That might be more due to the changes in my feet over the last 35 years, (yikes!)and not the sandal.

Had the high ones… needed the low ones! First of all, can't believe that kork-ease is back in my life... I wore them in the early 70's....I teach kindergarten...needed comfortable sandals because I am on my feet all day....the fit is wonderful and they look terrific with jeans. Awesome shoes - I bought a pair in chocolate - they are much better looking "in person" than on the website. I was afraid they would be two-toned, but they are an even dark chocolate brown in real life. They are very well-constructed, the leather is thick and smooth, the sole has lots of traction. These are as comfortable and wearable as my Birks and Earth shoes, but way better looking! I love the height of these wedges. You won't regret spending your money on these shoes once you've seen and tried on the imitations!

Satisfied review - I ordered the Kork-Ease Classic Low Rider on a Saturday and received them on Monday, much to my pleasant surprise. They fit perfectly and look wonderful. I am an in-between size and was, again, pleased to find the fit just right. I had had a pair in the early 1970s that I literally wore out. I don't recall what I originally paid, but do feel that they are now bit pricey and will probably not indulge in another pair for that reason. But overall I'm happy with the purchase and the service.

Looks wonderful, not that comfortable - I wear a 7 or 7.5, but the reviews said order up and the 7.5 was out of stock so I ordered an 8 which is a perfect fit! I could not have worn my normal size in this shoe. However, if you need arch support this is not the shoe for you. It looks wonderful, but cannot wear it for long periods. It also does not have good forefoot padding.

Why are these sandals so expensive? I guess because of their almost kitschy novelty... they do look awesome. I’m a size 6.5 and I ordered a 6. They fit pretty well although the leather is a little tight around the toes but I think it will stretch out. I’m also not very convinced of their quality... hopefully they'll last me a couple seasons. They are very versatile- they pair well with just about any outfit. Can’t wait for spring to wear them a lot!

So Happy - I wasn't sure if I should order this shoe on line, but I took the chance and I am so glad I did. I wear a perfect size 7M shoe and this fits wonderful. Nothing binds and it is easy to walk in. I think I need to get another color. They go with jeans and summer dresses and Bermuda shorts. They came in two days!! Wow!!

Kork Ease Low-Rider - I ordered two pairs in chocolate, one larger and one smaller, because I wear an 8.5. The size 9 fit perfectly but the straps were a caramel color, the suede wrapped heel was more of a chocolate brown color and the sole was blonde colored! Although too small, the size 8 was the perfect chocolate color from top to bottom, that I was looking for and was also the better constructed sandal. Pretty random for sandals that cost over $150!

Love the shoe but. . . I bought them in brown and black. The brown fit perfectly but the black pair were very narrow. I mailed them back and ordered another pair. They arrived and were too narrow too. I'm not sure why the inconsistency but am glad Zappos doesn't charge for shipping. I love them so much that I decided to keep them anyway and am having them stretched a bit. My brown pair is SO comfortable that I have a hard time taking wearing anything else!

Time Travelers - These shoes take me back to my high school days in the early 70's when I had a pair almost identical to these. The leather across the toe box is thick and quality, but the leather for the strap is thin and looks like it could show some wear and tear in time. There's almost no cushioning in the footbed and for the price they're not the quality I would expect for my money.

Still the prettiest natural look but ouch! The price... I fell for the nostalgia - I lived in these in the 70's & even into the 80's! The tops feel "like buttah" and I love the distinctive pale pinkish tan color. The footbed seems harder than I remember it, but still it's comfortable and doesn't discolor as some shoes do. But darn that price; not all boomers have wonderful disposable income - still, I just had to have these cuties. I hope the price comes down so that I can have a dark brown pair, too...

Comfort and style! The revival of this shoe is a boon to women who are searching the world over for a comfortable shoe with pizzazz. I wear it with skirts, slacks and shorts, and it gives every outfit a groovy look. One caution: the foot bed is a bit too hard. This shoe would be perfect with a padded footbed.

These take me back to 1974 - I love these sandals, height without the precarious tottering on heels, due to the platform. However there is hardware holding down the back straps on the heel surface. After a few hours it bothers my feet.

Keeping it simple - Great look and comfort. A classic that I wore back in college days. They used to be much more affordable... don't know why they are so pricey now-a-days. Art lovers check out David Hockney's Celia wearing the higher platform version of the shoe in her red stockings!

Bringing me back to the 70's - Yes, I'm old enough to have had these sandals back in the day. They have passed the test of time. They are a bit clunky in a Birkenstock kind of way but look good with summer cropped pants. They're pretty comfortable too.

As comfy as they were in the 70's - I love my low rise Kork-Ease. They fit true to size and are very comfortable. I wore them for 12 hours straight the first day without a problem. The low wedge does not look frumpy as I thought that it might.

I loved these in 1973 and I love them now - I don't know how many pair of these I had in the 70's but I wore them through college. I recently ordered a pair in the natural color they look and fit as I remember. I wear a 9.5 or a 10 and I'm very glad that I ordered the 10. It just fits. The price is high though for what they are.

Kork-Ease Classic Low-Rider - They were too wide at the forefoot, and there is no adjustability. They are also very hard on the bottom. They are quite cute, though. Had they been comfortable, I would have bought them in every color.

Cool sandals - These were my favorite sandals in high school back in '76, and they still look and feel wonderful. They're very comfortable. I can walk around in them all day.
