Cool but hard - I have been wearing my JV Essex thongs for about 2 weeks - mostly around the house 'cause it's still cold out (I do that to break them in). Though I love the way they look, I must say they are very hard, no cushion at all. I think these are perfect for going out to a casual dinner or maybe even to party on say a yacht, but if you want to walk around St. Bart's for the day in these thongs, your feet might be a tad pissed at you, not to mention your wallet.
