Smaller than expected - I was so disappointed after receiving this shoe. It runs very small both in length and width. The insole is removable, but my orthotic didn't even fit inside the shoe. It's got wonderful style and I only wish it came in more widths. For some reason, I expected more for the $.

An adorable sandal. I had hoped the straps could be adjusted to fit my size 4 foot and even though the footbed is the right length, it was a no go. I was sorry to have to send them back.

Helle Comfort - WONDERFUL shoes. I have back and foot problems so most shoes don't give me enough support. These have the comfort of tennis sandals and the looks and style of wonderful shoes. Worth every penny!

Helle is the only brand to wear from now on! I bought the Tai gold & silver for my 95 year old mother, Mildred. Last year she fractured a bone in her foot which finally healed (the doctor said elderly people many times have compression fractures just from their own weight. The bones get that fragile. She said not to ever let her stand or walk without sandals on with good arch support. The I remembered my own wonderful pair of Helle sandals (now 12 years old and still look like new since replacing the insoles...don't they ever wear out?!). They have wonderful arch support. Bottom line...they are wonderful for her and, of course, adjustable if her feet swell. I am getting ready to order again for myself. Price seems high? Trust me...they are exceptional comfort, long wearing, wonderfully made...you will get your money's worth.

Comfort and style - There is a very limited selection of sandals available to accommodate orthotics. Usually the selection is frumpy and dated looking. I find the Tai comfortable, accommodates my orthotics and it is fun to wear; a welcome change to the world of serviceable, dowdy looking footwear!

Weird lump in sole near arch - Very cute shoe and felt true to size but maybe a bit short. But there is a weird bump just below where the arch bump should be? Manufacturing mistake??? Such a cute shoe...better looking than the pics.
