What a shoe! I just purchased this shoe in black & love it so much I also ordered it in brown! Not only is this shoe comfortable (the adjustable straps add to the comfort & feeling of safety in the shoe) but it is so stylish that it will take you from work, to running around with the kids to a night out on the town. Great padded footbed makes this a very comfortable shoe. The heel height gives this a dressier look, but the shoe is still easy to walk in. The velcro closures work well for me because my foot is wide across the top.

The best stylish shoe - This shoe is so good looking and comfortable and best of all, it is the most stylish shoe I have. I have worn it thru airport after airport and they are wonderful. I got the brown it is more metallic than I thought it would be, but it is a wonderful shoe.

Too small - Cute shoe but too small. The 43 was listed as equal to a size 13, but they were about a full size too short. A shame because the shoe is stylish.

Wonderful and Versatile - This is my first pair of Helle Comfort sandals but definitely won't be my last. Though I have difficult feet to fit, I have never bought "comfort sandals" before. I found these to be extremely comfortable, due to both the adjustable straps and the foot bed. I walk 1.5 miles to work and was able to do this in these sandals, right out of the box. The price is worth it, as they are gorgeous sandals and don't look like "comfort sandals" at all.

A Keeper! I've tried MANY pairs of shoes for my "difficult" feet - and finally, a "keeper"! The Donina is not only comfortable, but wonderful looking. The adjustable straps provide just the flexibility I need for a perfect fit. The brown is beautiful - goes with brown or black outfits.

Not good for wide foot - Beautiful color of the brown sandal! Unfortunately, I have a wider foot and the raised sides of the footbed cut into the sides of my feet. I loved the look and really wanted to sandal to work for me - I have a dressy pair of Helle shoes which are my favorite sandals of all times, but they have a flat footbed without slightly raised sides. Would be wonderful for people with thinner feet. I have to return mine and try something else.

Perfect comfort and pretty - I love these! Don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed, but order a full size up. I am a size 8 1/2 to 9 (but closer to a 9 in most sandals). The size 39 was too small and I had to reorder the 40. I have them in black and because they are so comfortable - excellent arch support, perfect heel height, and I have small bunions and they still felt wonderful. I am planning on ordering the brown also.

They are awesome! I bought them in brown and love them. They're very comfortable. They are stylish enough to wear to work and yet also look wonderful with jeans. Fit and feel wonderful! LOVE THEM!

Very nice--worth the price? I tried both the Elodia and the Donina and compared fit, comfort, and style. The Elodia in camel is gorgeous--I think it would go with anything, but the Donina is more streamlined and flattering to my long narrow feet. This is the most I have ever paid for a pair of shoes (!), and I share the concern of the reviewer who wondered about their durability since they're so lightweight. As usual, I'm wearing my new sandals indoors at different times of day to test for sore spots, squeaks, and surprises before going outdoors. I ordered the brown which is shiny and has a variegated sort of animal print pattern. They look wonderful, and the velcro allows you to adjust both straps to get the right fit. The 2" heel is high enough for a dressy look but low enough for good ole comfort and ease of movement. I love the look, the fit, and the comfort...so far.

Most comfortable shoe ever - Unbelievably comfortable and lightweight shoe. If you are an 8-8.5, order a 38 (39 was too big for me). Also- the black color is a lot shinier than the picture- almost like a patent leather gloss. So comfortable I'm buying another pair from Helle Comfort. My only concern is that the shoe is so lightweight that it won't last long. We'll see.

Great Comfort Stylish Shoe! I wore these for my daughter's wedding reception with lots of dancing! My feet felt wonderful even at midnight! I highly recommend Helle Comfort Donina! The black is pretty but the brown is awesome!

Stylish - These sandals are very cute and stylish. I got compliments on the first day I wore them. They are comfortable, but for some reason my left pinky toe is getting rubbed the wrong way! I am thinking it may just be my foot. We recently had to walk about a mile downtown and the sandals (except for my pinky toe) were very comfortable. The color is versatile. I have a brown pair and since the color is a swirl of brown, black, and gold tones, it works well with brown or black outfits. The finish is a bit shiny.

Great shoe! My first Helle Comfort shoe and I am now 100% sold on this brand. I bought these in brown to wear to work, which is business casual. When I got them, I realized that, with the shiny bronze variations in the leather, they would work for dressier affairs too. So, the first time I wore them was to the symphony, with a sexy dress, and walked up and down stairs and all over down town. Not only did they look wonderful, they were perfectly comfortable, like wearing tennis sandals. They do look wonderful with business casual outfits and even jeans also. I like them so much I'm buying them in black too. I have a AA width foot and the shoe does seem to be true to width; I had to adjust the velcro over all the way. (I added some sticky-backed velcro to keep the straps down on the side after adjusting them over. ignore this comment unless you too have a narrow foot, in which case you will understand what I'm saying. :-) )
