A beautiful shoe. A little higher than 2 1/2 inches. I found these sandals tolerable as far as comfort (I have a problem with the metatarsal region of my feet.) Given these circumstances, I can not fairly judge these sandals.

Unstable - This is a very pretty shoe. Looks wonderful on the foot, however, the comfort was not there. The tapered heel made the shoe very unstable.
