Great sandal as far as comfort, however, I have a narrow foot and the strap that goes across the foot was a little wide for my foot. If you have a medium to medium wide foot, I would suggest this sandal. I usually wear an 8, but needed to go up a 1/2 size for the length. This is a great casual dress sandal.

Beautiful Sandal! I bought this shoe to wear with sundresses or dressier summer dresses and they are gorgeous. Heels are not too high and they're stable - not the rocking side to side that some heels do. The contrasting colors on the brown shoe are beautiful and will go with anything, and the "stones" are a nice finishing touch. Very classy. A little more than I usually pay for a sandal, but well worth it.

Frankly I did not have high hopes for these shoes. Cole Haan's tend to not fit me very well. Not in this case! Much cuter on, classy but with a casual look too. I wear either 8.5 or 9 and the 8.5 fit me perfectly. So even though I don't need another black sandal, I'm keeping them! I will get a lot of use out of these!

Air Danna Slide - Would recommend that Cole Haan have models wear these shoes or any shoes prior to mass manufacture to assure comfort. The shoes are comfortable except for the cross over straps at the top. I have blisters from them and had to put on bandages and pads in order to wear these shoes. For the price, these shoes should be tested prior to mass production.

Wore them last week and got blisters immediately on the top of both feet. They are cute so I'll try the "Chapstick Method" described by the other poster to see if that works. I need the wounds to heal first though.

Comfortable Slide w/ no break-in period - The Cole Haan Air Deacon Slide is a well constructed shoes that fits your foot as it should. The materials are soft inside and the footbed feels nice against the bottom of your feet. There truly is no break in period. The Nike Air heels ads to the comfort and makes this slide perform as if it were a comfortable casual shoe. The mid foot and toe area is also well cushioned and the sole has excellent traction. It has a dressy yet somewhat casual look do to the visible Nike Air pocket; which looks really cool with the shoe. Buckle is more of a faded brass color but works well with the shoes color. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is the color. It's a cross between med brown and dark red. It isn't your standard color but it looks mostly like a brown until you compare it to other browns. Although this is a complaint I found the color to be unique and now kinda like it. Don't worry you'll enjoy them.

Cute, but narrow - I have not yet worn these out because they are too narrow for me, but very cute and length is perfect. Should I go to the shoe repair for a stretch or give up and return? No decision yet. Always have had good luck with Cole Haan in the past.

Cole Haan's Air Vela Slide review - The shoes are extremely comfortable and great for me to be able to wear everyday. I have flat feet and they really give support while at the same time they are stylish. If it weren't for them I would have to be wearing old lady support shoes.

Ordered these shoes on a Friday and Zappos upgraded my delivery and I had them on Monday! The service is awesome and I have just placed another order. These shoes are so cute! I ordered them to wear for my daughter's wedding in a couple of weeks but after 5 minutes on the carpet I knew they wouldn't work for me. I rarely can wear a heel higher than 2 1/2" but was hopeful. This is my first experience with Zappos and I highly recommend them!
