Pretty shoe but very uncomfortable - I think the shoe is very attractive but it is not comfortable on my foot. I have a wide foot and it does not fit me well.

Serendipity - I happened upon Brighton sandals unexpectedly thinking the shop was only a quixotic little mix of trinkets, cute if a bit frivolous. Imagine my surprise then, when I suddenly discovered their formidable line of sandals, made in Italy, with beautiful lines and foot-friendly structures. I bought the Isabel shoe for its comfort and sweet simple elegance and am hooked on both this particular shoe and this line. I'm also a New Yorker so a comfortable, black stylish shoe is always a winner with me. I only wish I'd heeded the advice of the other purchasers who felt it needed to be sized up -- I'm a 7.5 and it fits comfortably, but I see how an 8 would have been a little roomier lengthwise -- since it's a slide it's not uncomfortable, only aesthetically a little, well, "abrupt" with the back of my heel exactly where the shoe ends.

Nice sandal - I really love this shoe, the look and the height of the heel. I have only had one real issue and that is that the "buckle" on the front tends to cut into my foot a little as I walk and can end up being quite sore by the end of the day. But, still it doesn't stop me from wearing them, so...

Brighton Isabel slide - Adorable shoe but the buckle on my right shoe is causing me pain on my toes!! Difficult to walk! On the other hand. Ordered the sandals on Tues. received them on Wed. and am wearing them on Thurs. Now if only they were comfortable!!

Perfect dressy black sandal - Love this shoe. It is very comfortable. Great style. Looks good with slacks or dresses. It is also very stable feeling, not wobbly.

Love Zappos - I had just ordered these sandals one Friday late night, the very next thing I knew they were on my porch. On a Monday afternoon, no less. I love the fact that they look exactly like the picture. They do feel a little narrow. But if you got a bigger size then they would be too long. I am a hooked customer.

Brighton Isabel - No lie - a beautiful shoe. The only problem is the silver buckle hurts my toes and where it is placed on the shoe. Beauty isn't everything - comfort is first and foremost - this shoe is not. I still love Brighton, but they need to think first for comfort.

Beauty ... but at a price - This is a beautiful shoe and I get lots of compliments on it, but it's not a shoe I could wear if I have a lot of walking to do. The heel is hard to walk on and the silver band does rub against my toes in a way that's not comfortable.

Size up when buying this shoe! Good looking and very comfortable shoe. I bought these in an 8W too small sent it back and went to a size 9W and they fit perfectly. Size up when buying this shoe. Also, thank you to Louisiana for the wearing the band aid recommendation after 2 weeks you can wear shoe without it! Need more WIDE Brighton sandals!

Classic Design - Silver Design is uncomfortable and you must wear Bandaids at first until your foot is accustomed to the weight of the metal. After a few days it is fine

Love, Love, Love - I tried this shoe on just for fun and was amazed at how wonderful it looked and felt on my foot. The saleslady at the Brighton store told me I should be a foot model! I have the ugliest feet but with these sandals on, I agreed with the saleslady. Can't wait to buy my next pair of Brighton sandals.

I must start by saying that I love Brighton products (purses, glasses, etc.) and this had been my first Brighton shoe purchase. While the sandals are beautiful and comfortable at first, after standing all day (I am a teacher), these sandals left a red, almost bloody, uncomfortable place under each of the metal decorative parts on top of my each of my feet. I will not be able to wear them again and it is a shame since they are not inexpensive. Jennifer Chapman
