Very comfortable and long-lasting - This was my first pair of Birkenstocks and I love them. I have very high arches and generally only wear covered sandals because I have to wear orthotics (inserts). These are the first supportive shoes that I've found and they also don't give me blisters unless I walk several miles in them at a time. My only advice is to just enjoy them as is. I put some nubuck polish on mine to keep them waterproof and it discolored them.

Love This Style - This is the only Birkenstock shoe I own at the present time. I plan to purchase many more when I can afford it. They are well worth the $$ and I wear mine almost everywhere. I like the suede footbed as it really molds to my foot. These are the most comfortable sandals on the planet!!

Birkenstock florida - Next to the Milano (which I prefer for walking longer distances due to the heal strap) these are the best birkies. They look wonderful with or without socks. I wear mine year round. I just wish the Birkenstock company would make a pair with smooth insole linings. I just hate having to wear down the uncomfortable suede lining. The dye stains my socks and when I don't wear socks the bottoms of my feet get sore until after wear the suede wears down to smooth leather. This brand of shoe is the only shoe that I can wear comfortably.

Old Faithful - This is my third pair of Florida’s. The Birkibuc version is much easier to break in, especially if your skin is sensitive. The straps are soft and the upper has a wonderful felt lining that is very soothing to the recent surgical scar along my big toe bone. The blue color is fun--a welcome change from my usual taupe. The three straps adjust to the shape of your foot, so they are comfortable right out of the box.

My Summer Sandals - I really like the Birkenstock Florida shoes. The only reason I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 rating is that it took some time to get use to the toe bar. It reminded me of my favorite Dr. Scholl’s shoes from many years ago. The shoes are easy to slip on and off. I broke away from my usual black and brown sandal and selected a pretty light blue this time. I wear them with everything. I recommend them. In American sandals I wear a regular width, but the narrow width fit well in the Birkenstock.

Cool blue Birks - These are my first pair of Floridas and I think the blue is a wonderful addition to my wardrobe. The Birkibuc wears almost like leather and after several wearings my foot is molded in the trademark Birkenstock cork footbed. Just remember that a Birkenstock "narrow" is a US regular width. I made a mistake ages ago by not ordering a narrow and I never got a good fit.

This is an interesting Birkenstock style. Not commonly found in a store. Great comfortable floor. I have average width feet and the narrow is a bit tight on me. I could use one more hole in the middle strap. Other than that, I love this shoe!

Birkenstock Florida (Birkibuc) Was very happy to get this shoe, can take my long walks and my feet, legs, and back feel wonderful. Was afraid my foot would smack down flat on the ground while walking after being used to sandals that help your foot roll from front to back, but the walking is normal and effortless. I can wear these all day, and am not a usual Birkenstock wearer. They also look a little more feminine and I like the steel blue color. This shoe will last a long time and the quality is excellent, those points and the wonderful arch and other support being the important features for me. Have been wearing it a LOT. My heel feels well-supported. I was concerned about that from the picture. I got a 38 Narrow and it really fits like an 8. Remember that Narrow in Birkenstock is a Medium in US sizes.

Birkibuc Florida - There is bump in the arch that really bothered me in this shoe. I have rather flat feet. I didn't notice the hump in other Birks. Returned sandals.

Birkenstock "Florida" style is the best! In 1998 I purchased this exact style (in black) while sightseeing in Germany. I started wearing them immediately, and they became my favorite and most comfortable sandals. Last year I had the rubber under the heel replaced, but the cork has become somewhat shabby from years of wear. So I was very happy to find the exact style again (although not in black). I like the relatively thinner straps on these Birkenstocks, and I think they are much more feminine looking than many of the other Birkenstock styles (four of which I own). And I'd like to find them in black (not in nubuck) and in other colors.

Birkenstock Florida - The burgundy on the underside of this leather rubs off if you're wearing white socks. Otherwise, the quality is good, but not quite like the very old Birkenstocks I've had for years.

Birkenstock's Florida - I love my white Florida Birkenstocks and so does everyone else that sees them. They are perfect for you summer clothes. The only dislike is the buckle. It seems to be made of a little cheaper metal than my other Birks but so far they have held up fine.

Great Birkenstocks - as always - I wear mostly Birks because of foot problems - and Zappos always has the narrow size and style I want (not so with my local shoe store).. My sandals most of the time arrive 2 to 3 days after ordering. You can't beat that!

Great sandals!! I am on my fourth pair of Birkenstocks, as they are so comfortable to wear, when you have feet problems!!!! I have a callous under my right big toe, and I can pad the Birks and wear them all day long without pain. Plus I have had problems with my left foot, which surgery will correct, but these sandals make walking much easier than regular shoes or sandals.

I ordered in a narrow and shoe was still way too wide, plus unable to adjust buckles enough for secure fit. Now have to take to shoemaker to punch some holes. This shoe very uncomfortable after only wearing twice.

WONDERFUL - I love my Birkies! These shoes are so comfortable. I have wide feet and a high arch and sometimes it's hard to find quality sandals that look and feel good on my feet. These shoes fit extremely well and I even had to tighten them up quite a bit. Birkies look good and wear wonderful.

When I first got mine, they weren't as comfortable as I thought they should be. So I tightened the buckles, and now... perfection! Mine do have a weird stain on them, I don't know what that is, but they are wonderful. They just fit your foot. It's like you're barefoot, but better.

Birkenstocks are the greatest sandals ever! I have this pair, along with a few others, and before I found Birkis, I would come home from work (10+ hours of running around on a hard concrete floor with not much more than a half hour of sitting time accumulated throughout the day) and my feet, knees, and back would ache and throb all through the night. Now I come home, throw on my Birkis, and all of the pain goes away! These sandals last forever and are honestly the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned.

This little sassy sweet looking sandal is beautiful in the cornflower blue 3 strap. I have a narrow foot and they fit perfect and are so wonderfully comfy that I live in mine all the time, except for when I'm at work.
